Exact same problem.

Something is wrong here....

nix 07-30-2007 08:47 PM

try rebuilding your bitfields.

Thanks

If you look through some of the post I've made here you'll see some of the features. I "should" have a test version out some time this week.

Cause Youporn doesnt want you to embed anything. So the flv should work. I'll see what i can do though.

nix 07-31-2007 09:56 PM

Yea I'm going to add this in 3.1.

ToKey 07-31-2007 10:01 PM

Is there a way to make it so it'll put at the top of the actual video, the name you specify, instead of having the actual media player name.

Like..

[media='This is the video title which will show at the top of the player, where the "Any Media Player defaults at"]http://linkTOmediaVIDEO[/media]

You understand? Can we do this?

nix 07-31-2007 10:04 PM

With the current version you can change the name of the player to what ever you want. It should pull the titles if it can find them and place them at the bottom. In the new version I've totally changed the way its displayed.

ToKey 07-31-2007 10:10 PM

I know you can change the name of the actual player, but I don't want that. I was wondering if you can make it so each individual member, that uses this bbcode can change the title of the player. Not that it would be the player they are changing, they would be naming that video something. Like how it is with the YouTube integration hack below.

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=142236

The code is... [yt="Video of ToKey driving a car"]http://youtube.com/Jd83jfFs[/yt]

So when the media player shows in the post, it puts "Video of ToKey driving a car" at the top where you have the "Any Media Player" at.

nix 08-01-2007 11:39 AM

It should be doing titles now for you already. You can just edit the template and put the title where you want it.

Tralala 08-01-2007 11:52 AM

nix, he wants the the title to be user-changeable, per video, per post. In other words, allow the user to override the default "AnyMedia Player" title (or whatever its been changed to in the admin CP) with a new one.

nix 08-01-2007 12:19 PM

Well I changed the way its displayed in the new version.

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...4&d=1185329823

But I could also add that. Using the bbcode will be optional also. It can auto pharse the url for you.

Nix, excellent mod

Quick questions as I did a search of this mod and found no matches.
Will you be adding support for "video.aol.com" and "video.google.ca;(or any other google video extention other that .com)"?

-PB

USAMustangs.com 08-04-2007 10:14 AM

Will this embed videos from http://www.nothingtoxic.com/

No. The supported sites are listed in the mod. You can request it though.

I can't get to that site now but when I get home I'll have a look. As long as it allows embeding I should be able to do it.

I was just curious if you had a chance to check out http://www.nothingtoxic.com to see if it would be something you could add?

I would definitely like to request that to be added.

Thanks.

nix 08-06-2007 12:56 PM

Yea i'll put it out in 3.1 also.

halcyoncmdr 08-07-2007 01:16 AM

Any chance you could add collegehumor.com as well? :)

I already have it in 3.1. I just have one small bug to work out before I release it. Still coding the backend of it and the stand alone part but otherwise it's ready for release.

txsbmw 08-07-2007 01:08 PM

I am guessing this does not work on 3.6.8. I can't even get the button to show for it. I have done and redone all template edits. Made sure all files are uploaded, and imported the product file. When I manually enter the media bbcode it does not show a video only:

[MEDIA]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3uLBKGYtIU[/MEDIA]

nix 08-07-2007 05:59 PM

It works on 3.8. did you check your usergroups settings?

Smooth Adam 08-07-2007 07:31 PM

Is it possible to get the videos to work on the frontpage of a vbAdvanced Site? I have mine to set to automatically collapse and I can't get them to open.

Yes I made sure the usergroup settings were correct and made sure in the options that it was on. Still nothing.

This is my usergroup setting:
Help AnyMedia BBCode Permissions
Can Use AnyMedia BBCode Yes
Show Download Link Yes

And options setting:
AnyMedia BBCode Enabled
Setting this option to 'No' will disable the whole AnyMedia BBCode System. Yes
BBCode Tag Name
Set the tag name for the BBcode. Video
AnyMedia Player Title
It will display on header of the player box. USMC Hangout
Show the download link?
Setting this option to 'Yes' will directly show the download link.
Whether a member could see the download link is also restriced by the usergroup permission.
Note: If you choose 'No', user could also get the url by viewing the source code. Yes
Use flash mp3 player?
Use the flash player to play a mp3 file?
Note: If you choose 'No', it will be played with the WMP.
The Single Mp3 Player is Powered By jeroenwijering.com. Yes
Autostart?
Setting this option to 'yes' will autoplay the media when it's loading.
Note: If you choose 'No', user could also make it autoplay by adding an option to the bbcode. No

All other questions are set to yes

txsbmw 08-07-2007 07:56 PM

Ok I re-imported the product now the image button is showing on the editor toolbar but it gives this:

[VIDEO]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3uLBKGYtIU[/VIDEO]

Is that what it is suppose to do? Anyway it still just posts the above instead of actually embedding the video.

nix 08-07-2007 09:53 PM

try and rebuild your bitfields. I can take a look at your board for you.

Tanabe 08-07-2007 10:59 PM

Just a suggestion if you could add a supporting player for

http://www.megavideo.com/

Its a new mega site and you can use your adbrite account to earn profit from your videos :)

How do I rebuild my bitfields?

MPDev 08-08-2007 12:42 AM

Code:

        //$this->_mediaInfo['htitle'] = $this->hTittle();
When including a video file directly; I got a blank page on this line. Not sure if it's an issue on my server or not; but the problem appears to be in trying to open a 30mb .mpg file to see if there is a <title> tag in there.

txsbmw 08-08-2007 01:21 AM

Ok I figured out how to rebuild them, it still did not work.

It is inserting video tags instead of media (which is what I thought it was suppose to insert). I tried manualy both ways and it does not show either way.

Thought I fixed that in 3.0.5. Its fixed in 3.1 for sure. If its has the // in front of it, it should run. You can just delete that line for now if you want. I could let you try 3.1 but there is a bug that breaks the quick edit. The prototype js is breaking vb's js.

You don't insert the tags. Past the link and press the M button.

In the new version you'll have the option to just past the link and hit reply or hit the M button like before.

I did that at first before trying to just directly insert the tags. Doesn't work. I get this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONVDU0icLYc

So I assume you mean paste the link, then highlight the link, then press the M button in which I get this upon posting:

Yea thats all you do. I can take a look at it for you.

Carsten77 08-08-2007 08:06 AM
