*sigh* What are the script names? Forum ID#s? What? >.<
The rest is helpful, sort of, though. Will putting it in the forumdisplay.php file be enough to do it for all pages (once I find out what exactly script names are)? |
How can we make the text a little more bigger? This is a nice shoutbox, however, the font size is really small and would love to increase it.
|
OK ...
Inferno Tech or Mr Zero ... I have asked this a few times and no answer. Mabe someone else can help me. I would like my users to have the ability to click on a link to get the shoutbox in a little popup. So they can have it floating next to the browser window. Is this possible? This seriously reduces sh*t threads like "good morning" and "BRB" ... Thanks for an answer. |
use the create your own page article:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...ered+templates and then use the tutorial here to make a pop up window using the link you made http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/link...amsupp_70.html and there you have inferno shout opening in a pop up window:) |
Can someone teach me how to increase it's size?

All ya need to do Pixxie, is type in the page deployment box the page you want it to show on and then under that template add <!--{%SHOUTBOX%}--> under the $navbar.
Example: my page deployment has : index, forumdisplay, showthread Then in the forumdisplay , showthread tempates I have <!--{%SHOUTBOX%}--> |
What about the shoutbox options in admincp? Where it tells you to list the script names? Your information is a helpful start, btw. :)

Does the Pro version allow you to set individual colors for each line of text? The Lite version allows you to do so but changes every line of text in the shoutbox you have entered to that color. I want to be able to bold on line and have the others stay in the same default format.
Thanks |
You can use BB code to change the colour of each individual line of text in the pro version =)

hi um. i'm sorry if this was mentioned somewhere in this thread. I might have missed it. but i have this isntalled and i love it so far. but I was wondering if there was a way to let users choose if they want to have it hide or show from their usercp.
i was able to figure out a way to make my own custom user field options. i made a radio button and filled in all the parts. however, i can tell it won't just magically work like that and that I need to enter the real working "parts" somewhere else. but i don't know where nor do i know what. should i make a new thread for this or can i ask here? thanks in advance. would really appreciate any help. all i wanna do is let my users decide if it should show or hide by default for them whenever they come online to my forum. becasue some of my users lag badly when it's showing and stuff. |
I am reading through these 33 pages of replys so far have not seen this question what do you do if you shoutbox is still loading? I just installed it and my shoutbox just sits there with the loading symbol going.
I have done the edit in .httaccess <IfModule mod_security.c> SecFilterEngine Off SecFilterScanPOST Off </IfModule> still won't work. Edit: Got it to work.. Grr smartftp didn't upload the files correctly... *sigh* |

I think I have found a way to get this to work in the VBa CMPS
I got it to work on pro so it might work on lite. Would anyone want to test this? |
i'll test
|
How do i/ members put smiles into their 'shouts'?
Cheers, excellent mod. |
i got it working on vbadvanced, but its not as a module etc but it is effective, depending on where you put it!!
neo_obs has told me another way to do it and i will try that later. anyone interested in this before i type some instructions for you?? |

Yes I would be very very interested in the possibility of Pro or Lite working in vBa as a module.
If anyone has instructions or cares to share the information, it would be much appreciated :) |

Absolutely love it. It's brilliant, and better than all the others I've tried.
I did click install, but all I get here is an 'Error on page' error :( Thanks!! Ic?. |
first i must say this is great... thank you.
I would like to remove the PM function on pro (well worth the $30!) for the members but leave for admin, is this possible? |
My question, how can I get the newest "shout" to show up at the bottom and not go up top?? Its really weird this way.
Ok upon investigation I have to pay for the shoutbox. This sux but ok. |
How would I add this into the vBAdvanced home?
|
Hello, where I can find the option to translate in Spanish the language of shoutbox? Thank you!:):)

Im having an issue with the pro version of this hack, I also put this one (lite) on before the pro version and i still have these ugly white lines. From what I was reading, Im guessing this is a template issue? I havent really seen a fix on this though I havent read the 30 some pages of replys to this thread....anyways, i posted a screen shot so hope someone can help me.
