Will you be doing an update for 3.8.2?

Id also like to request it for 3.8.2 :)

Does someone have working demo - the demo in the starter does not seem to be active.

I have installed all of this but, like the others it says I am down.

I am contacting my host 1st to see of there are any issues on my side 1st but I also want to show them a working demo.

Ive installed it on my 3.8.2 vbulletin forums and it wont show my radio information.

is there anyway to add multi server shoutcast ?

Ok I got mine working now - so far so good - only thing is the info does not update regularly or at least it does not seem to - I will monitor it more and report back - I was very tired when I got it completed.

I am really not sure what the problem was - I could not make it work to save my life - So a complete "re-install" fixed it - not sure if something was corrupted with the 1st install but it works now and that is what really matters.

For now everything works great except for the updating but I will report back later on that to make sure full kudos are given - great add on, either way!

It works for me.

I had to re-install everything all over again and then it started working.

I am not sure if I messed up the CHGMOD the 1st time.


He did tell me he is working on new versions but that was some time ago.

I need the CMPS version but just put my custom flash player in a module until he redoes these.

I hope soon...:)

Reinstalled, replaced the file for the 3rd time! Remained 0KB,CHMODed, cleared firefox cache and its WORKING :D :D

The file is a simple cache file that is updated when it connects to the shoutcast server.

Which server is compatible with shoutcast?

I cant use exe-files to install shoutcast on my server.

Is there another alternative to get it work?

I do not want to pay for another server cause I do not want to use it often.

This addon has nothing to do with misc.php.

Any update 3.8 version,have this installed o 3.8.3 but will shows as offline,all settings are correct & the wbfsonic mod is playing fine on same board.

I have done everything to make this work. But it keep saying server offline. I have my dedicated and i have opened the port which i am using for shoutcast. used shell to open port
. Its working perfectly if i use ip and port to access.

Right so can anybody tell me one way or another whether or no this works in 3.8.4, I used to use it on an 3.8.2 but have just set it up again on 3.8.4 and it's a no go. Any ideas anybody?

and also is it possible to put an embedd player on there too with function for Admin to make it auto play on forum load up... so the visitors hear whats playing and keep listening or simply stop it???

The thing is I just followed everything pukka and what I found is Server Down Status for ever, But the shoutcast was working fine :(

I see you posted this in August, what are the plans now with vb4 coming along very soon?

I have VB4.0.0 Beta 3 installed on a DEV system and the way it looks almost all add-ons will need updated one way or another.

I'm having a problem with it showing "server down". I have read many many other posts. I am going to be specific with my question.

I use a streaming service (wavestreaming) to broadcast my radio.
I have placed my server ip as: gecko.wavestreamer.com
and my port as: 3944
Which were assigned to me by the host. I also put my admin password.
My station is up on shoutcast.com and gecko.wavestreamer.com:3944 is working fine so I know it's broadcasting. There just has to be something in my settings. I'm guessing either server ip won't take the url the way it is or at all, or, I'm needing to put my computer's ip and port instead. I broadcast with SAM Broadcaster, so do I instead need to put my external ip and the port SAM is using?

I had the same problem, but then i CHMOD scast_home.xml to 777 and it worked fine

How to set shoutcast to apper everypage? it wont work when set acp settings to costum and copy-paste it to navbar temple for example. any ideas how to do that?
