I as well am receiving this error:

Warning: Unknown(): URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /misc.php(96) : eval()'d code on line 162

Warning: Unknown(http://www.mommies-r-us.org/vb/global.php): failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /misc.php(96) : eval()'d code on line 162

It happens when users click the "Top 10 Stats" link. Anyone have a solution?

dbirosel 02-27-2007 04:43 PM

I am also recieving an error when clicking top 10

Thanks for the update. I was having problems with the post and thanks counts being way off, and this update seemed to have fixed it. Thanks!

Is it supposed to be fixed with version 4.7? Because right now I'm using 4.7 and Guests are still seeing private forums in the recent threads stats. They can click to read the post in the private forum but they have to login to read it. I don't want private forums showing up in recent threads to users who don't have permission.

"URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration" error:
You must configure allow_url_fopen=on / allow_url_include=on in your php.ini to make that work. It's server configuration problem, not this hack.

ubblite,
Check your private forum settings. Again this is not bug in my hack.

Also I'll repeat that modified hack's templates needs to be reverted to solve some problems mentioned by few users. If you just read upgrade instructions in release notes...

Realm of Horror Comics 02-28-2007 12:53 PM

How do I edit the text "Top 5 Stats"?

I would prefer it to say something like "[My site name]'s Top 5 Stats".

How do I do this please?

Many thanks for any help you can provide:up:

Capper5016 02-28-2007 12:58 PM

ids there a way to change the order of the stats? I'd definitely like to have latest posts all the way to the left

This requires several template edits. I wouldn't recommend this because of future updates. If you do it now then you'll need to revert template and re-do customizations every time when I change something...

Btw you have no latest version installed. It would be great idea to upgrade.

Any idea where this file is? How come I have to fiddle with this file now, I didn't before.

United32 02-28-2007 07:33 PM

allow_url_include=on is a security risk if your server is om PHP 5.2.0.

I will stay on Cyb 4.5 for now.

Valter 03-01-2007 12:54 AM

Another way is to open product XML, find:
require_once($vbulletin->options['bburl'].'/global.php');
and change it to:
require_once('./global.php');
After this re-import product to your forums and it will work.

Roxie 03-01-2007 02:43 AM

Unless you hide the forums threads will be pulled into recent threads column. When they click they won't be able to read, but thread titles ARE there.

Dream 03-01-2007 02:58 AM

Any chance this mod will have more statistics rows on the separate page on a future version?

I haven't modified any of the templates and have the forum settings set the same way you show in your screenshot. I have also tried all other settings for the private forum, but the thread titles still show up for all usergroups.

Well, this is sort of the same problem I'm having but even if I have the private forum selected for "hide threads", they still show up in this hacks recent threads column. Hopefully Cyb can fix this.

Hi,

me again :)
I've analysed my problem a little bit more.
I found out, that topics which are moved to another forum with link from the old forum, are shown twice in the last stats.

First the org. topic and second one the link.
Is there a chance to hide the topic-links ?

Thanks
Cheers
Mike

Set positions in ACP settings:
-Shoutbox "above forums"
-Stats "below NavBar"

Please create temp admin account for me to check it. I need access to Options and Plugins. Works fine with my Bosnian translation.

Kadi 03-04-2007 04:47 AM

Hi,

I updated to 3.6.5 and now the latest news column is empty and when I remove the forum ID from 'forums excluded' it shows up but it also shows up in latest posts.

What needs to be updated?

Thanks.

D_Acct 03-04-2007 08:44 AM

Hey! For some reason the 'thread starters' doesn't update, anyone know the reason/what I possibly be doing wrong.

Thanks!

It doesn't show date and time when I use it in my language too and I'm not the only one. I think we should know if this prob can be fix or we have to find a similar mod...

This mod works like a charm, and I will be donating a nice contribution for your efforts. My client had this feature request from the start, and you deserve to get paid for your efforts! (We are using just the reputation display, nothing else.)

My only issue is very minor: I would like the stats to show on more than one location. I have it listed on showthread, and I also want it listed on forumdisplay. It already shows up on the forum index, since I put it into the left navigation (header template). I would love for this to allow multiple or even a second template (not just one). The client is happy as it is, but we would love to see this in more than one template.

Would love to be able to just list both display templates, seperated by comma, or if there is another way.... I'm open to suggestion. :D

Thanks for allowing a second place, but it seems I need a third.
