You can change the template 'mybookmarks_optionsstats' for this. Insert your explanation or add a link... :bandit:

I was REAAAAL suprised by the installation of this hack !

I admit I did not read well what it does before installing it. I thought it would only allow the users maybe to have bookmarks towards threads ON THE FORUM.

Now that it is installed, I would only allow moderators and supermods to use it... I am afraid it might make life even harder for novice users, and the risk of having links to warez and adult sites is high.....

but I should add that it is really an EXCELLENT hack...

The idea is real cool and it is really nice to have it .... but once again, I would only allow that for the mods and super mods... :p

is this known to interfere in any way with the emailing function of the forums.

I just installed this hack , and suddenly now, noone (including myself, the admin) is receiving any emails I send using the "email users" feature of vb.

any help please ????

Well, I never thought of that. Perhaps a future add-on would be a table of
site names that aren't allowed? That would solve it, and it should be fairly
easy to source. Unless, having such a table in itself would be a violation.
For my forum, I'll just relegate myself to keeping an eyeball on this. at
BBF, this feature is deployed, and mostly the admins/mods use it, and some
of the tech advisors..the n00b's that do use it, book mark forum threads.
I'm not sure they have learned that they can do external links, yet..

Once things is for sure, once the illegal link is discovered, it's fairly
easy to fix, both for the link, and the member who originated it.

No, email still works fine for me. Are you sure it's the hack? Or possibly your mail server...

I have another forum on the server and it is working fine.

Great Hack!!!! I have only one minor problem. On my Member Profil Page the line "xxx's Bookmarks:" does show nothing. Am I the only one who has this problem? Any suggestions?

Have you changed the template getinfo and the file member.php?
