You don't need this for 4.2

vB built in a navigation manager found in ACP.

ACP->Setting->Navigation Manager.

From there click on forum so it expands.

Then select add link from the drop down next to quick links and add the following:

Title: My Posts
Target URL: search.php?do=finduser&userid={userinfo.userid }&contenttype=vBForum_Post &showposts=1

Then select active and save.

Do the same for:

Title: My Threads
Target URL: search.php?do=finduser&userid={userinfo.userid}&st arteronly=1&contenttype=vBForu m_Thread

To hide these links from guests add "member" in the box 'Show Permission Name'.
(thanks Fleiding)

If you want to hide these links for guests, you'll have to fill in "member" in the box 'Show Permission Name'. :)

If that's supposed to be a question nobody's going to answer it because it would clearly indicate you haven't bothered to read back a bit where multiple people are discussing 4.2.

Yup, nobody except Videx is going to answer it and point you at the right direction (kinda) ;)

Permissions may have to be added so these links don't show for guests. I will look into that when I have time. :)

To change the order just adjust the display order numbers.

Cool, but the "My Tread" button links you to threads you've posted in, it seems redundant right next to the "My Posts" button, I think it would be better if it showed only the threads started by that poster.

I see, it's a typo, he typed the same link for both buttons, this is the "My Threads" link, search.php?do=finduser&userid={userinfo.userid}&co ntenttype=vBForum_Post&starter only=1

LOL I did this weeks ago and one of my posters just pointed out tfact that it says "My Treads" in the nav-bar, the "H" is missing from the word "Threads" any idea how I can fix this ?
