If it timesout I think you should be able to just install it again. If the column exists it will just bypass adding it.
Dont use the uninstall option as that will attempt to remove the column, leaving you back at square one. It wont corrupt anything, mysql will do what it was told to do, its just that php wont hang around forever waiting for it. |
Thanks, it did go through in the end - so my suggestion to anyone with a similar number of posts is to be patient and keep waiting :)

Thanks. |
Not really sure what response you want, but as I have no access to your site theres not really much i can tell you.

It's solved, not sure what happened. Thanks for your response.

I had to uninstall it because it didn't work at all and some members started to get different members IP addresses. We also have the mod that detects login of two accounts on the same IP, maybe there was some conflict there.
|
anyone know if their is a conflict with the above? As I also have that mod but would like to install this one as well.
|
Paul, this mod is EXACTLY what I needed! My site is behind a proxy now, and I needed to see IPs of visitors instead of the IP of my proxy. It works! It actually started to work the moment I uploaded the modified class_core.php file. Do I need to import the product, too? I don't need the red px.gif in my use case. Will I miss some other functionality if I don't import the product?
Again, thanks so very much for sharing your product with the community! |
The rest is basically to store both ip's for posts - but in your case thats not really necessary as the original ip will always be your proxy.
|
Many thanks, Paul!
