Works great I had some issues becasue I am using CMPS so all I did was creat redirects to the necessary files.

My only wish is there a way for current members to use this I don't want them to make new accounts to connect .. does anyone have any ideas???

I'd give it a go if:

1. There was a way for an existing user to associate their Facebook credentials with their forum account.

2. There was a way for a Facebook user to login first with their Facebook credentials but also be able to login using a normal vb user/pass should they choose to do so in the future.

For the first one, you should be able to simply merge the users.

Easier said than done.. I have over 7,000 registered users. It'd be a nightmare to handle that manually.

I second the existing user issue. Without it it's a nogo for me.

I question whether *all* of my users would want their accounts merged. Though it may be a pain, I for one think this is still a very powerful tool for getting new members.

The Facebook Connect cross-domain receiver URL http://www.loveukmusic.com/forum/xd_...%220.987%22%7D must have the application's callback URL http://www.loveukmusic.co.uk/forum as a prefix. You can configure the callback URL in the application's settings.
