Great hack, just one question...

Will the hack work properly with vbadvanced? I tested a youtube url to post on my homepage (I usually embed the video) and nothing displayed except for the media player border and the "download" link at the bottom.

Any suggestions?

I was able to get it by changing the line <if condition="$show['anymedia_bbcode']"> to <if condition="$vboptions['anymediaenable']">

However, I don't know if that is actually the fix, or just a workaround.

he may have no permission.

enable the permission for him in usergroup permission setting.

it's a known bug of anymedia flvplayer.
you could
1. enable the youtube's original player.
2. refresh the page till it shows up.

That is what I thought at first too. I checked the usergroup permissions in admincp. Both can use anymedia bbcode and show download link are set to yes.
