I can see your point in regards to that post, and others like it... and I appologise for the overall tone of my post. but yours sounded negative in general, and I got the wrong impression from that...

Code:

www.forumhome.com/forumname/threadname.html#1270
which at the time of me writing this "1270" is the "lastpost" in this thread.it happens to be my post.

The problem with this is you add an additional query to the page, which is unacceptable for busy forums (imagine adding 2 additional queries for every forumdisplay page!)

Code:

RewriteRule ^(.*)/t-(.*)-(.*)-post(.*).html showthread.php?t=$3#post$4&is_vrewrite=yes&%{QUERY_STRING} [L]

I am a bit confused - -perhaps you can PM me and I can work on this?>

For those still irritated with teh WOL bug -- its nearly fixed...Furthermore, I've added a new feature that will allow you to disable rewriting on certain pages.
Example, you can stop writing online.php if there is still an issue with the next release, or you can stop any other php page from being rewritten.

WOW. I am eagerly waiting for then next release!

I would like to see how this comes out also. I have this installed on my test site. I don't want to add this to my old site, because it's hard getting spidered all over again. Though I want to open a new site, so this hack will be perfect for me. So far everything is working on my test site besides the few small bugs posted. Hope to see this released soon, but take your time and don't rush code. ;)

Damn,i didnt think about that.Hmmm, would it be really hard to "rel=nofollow" the new and last post links then? Now that i think about it,it would be nice to be able to "rel=nofollow" certain links through vrewrite settings in admincp.
