there is a problem with netscape browser
Salut il y a un soucis avec netscape les messages depassent dans les forums

I have this product installed and its great....I did a search for vbadvanced, however I didnt see a response.

This isnt to have it on my vbadvanced page, the problem I am having is getting it to show up in the navbar for vbadvanced. I tried adding mgc_chatbox.php to the replacements but nothing happened.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

I think in next versions people should be able to save colours ect... Like when you log in it says Remeber me,Instead it says Save this With the box,That would make me v happy

ALSO: if you set this for unregistered users, the chat box just shows <>, any chance it can read <unregistered> and not have it linked?

I'd love to use this as a Joomla module. Don't really care too much for vba. If anyone's accomplished this, please let me know.

Some help needed here...

I'm having trouble changing the background color in the chatbox, no matter what I do I can't get it to change. I'm no coder but I usually manage to find my way around php and html, I've added the bgcolor tag to every td and table and the best I get is parts of the chatbox changing color:confused:

When I right click in the chatbox to view background image I get taken to my forum's background image:confused:

Ok so I have figured out how to add the chatbox link onto the navbar for vbadvanced (thanks to Brian from vbadvanced)

Add these 2 lines to your "Portal Output Global Variables"
vboptions >> vba cmps >> default settings >> main options >> portal output global variables

chatbox_permission
template_hook

When using the PM/MP channel, all of the messages that get sent are forced into an all lower-case string. (By the way, what does "MP" stand for...?) If you edit the messages in the PM channel, however, and use upper-case letters, they stay in their upper-cased format.

This hack is great, and I managed to install it quickly and easily, but I'm running into one major problem.

A few of my members have reported a problem after I installed it; the word "idle" appears in the shoutbox when access it. Even if they try typing something, or going to a new page, the text stays there and doesn't go away, meaning they can't read anything.

Help?

So far, three of my members can't load the chatbox for some reason, and I'm not sure why. :( By the way, yes, I allowed the usergroups to see them.
