Any word on what is going on for Zoints Autonomous owners? I spent a few hundred dollars and unfortunately have yet to use that software because it was sold soon afterwards. I'm also wondering what is going on in terms of development. I'm starting some new projects and Zoints has been practically dead for a long, long time. Don't get me wrong, your dedication in these forums has not gone unnoticed but you have to consider what I got for my investment. I'd be happy if I could just have a tagging system without dealing with the integrated profiles and the challenges of using it with other hacks.

The engineers really haven't worked on anything with 3.7 yet as it hasn't even reached the RC schedule of testing. I do know there are a few elements they would like to integrate into Zoints Local, but as they have not started to work with it I don't believe I should comment on it (in case it's not doable for whatever reason.) I think there are a couple obvious ones that we would like to try for, but I don't want to put the engineers in an impossible position should something be alluded to that cannot be done. If you know of specifics you would like to see incorporated, please post in this forum to discuss it with the team:

Do i need to overwrite the files i already have

To upgrade to the latest version? To upgrade from version 1.04a to 1.04b you need to upload and overwrite the following files:

* This have the spanish Languaje translation?
* If the answer is not, can i translate it?
* My users will reciebe something about Zoints? (ads, emails, blablabla)

* Why i have to register my forum on Zoints? What is the intentions or what you will do with my forum?

1. No, there could be a Spanish translation available from a third party but we do not provide it. However, translations will be made MUCH easier with the upcoming version.
2. Certainly, as long as the translation is true to what it should be.
3. Nope, unless your users sign up for Zoints. But by being a member of your forum, they will not receive anything from us.
4. I am sorry, I really don't understand this question.
5. You have to register to get a token and an auth. key to install. The product (Zoints Local) will not function without this information.
6. Your users will display in results for Zoints members, if your users have sensitive information on their profiles, they should set their profiles so that guests cannot view them (ie Google spiders and Zoints.) We do not collect information about members from forums but members are included within search results, and the information we collect about our own members of the network is extremely limited in comparison to other networks. Privacy is very important to us and within Zoints Local we let your members know in their privacy options to set their profile to not allow guest views if they do not want it being collected by Google or used within search results at Zoints.
7. You need to agree to keep the system in-tact as we intend for it, meaning that the Zoints branding remains and the link to Zoints Communities remains. We encourage forum owners to modify the product and develop new things for it, all in the purpose of fitting it to their forum. And of course, if you want to be added to our forum directory but you have adult content we expect that you label your forum accordingly.

OK... I have a few problems that I cant seem to fix.

1) I have installed the hack and want to only allow certain usergroups to be able to use it but I do not see it in my usergroup options. Where can I decide what users can use it.

2) Where do I go to allow various features to be enabled for those usergroups? For example, I want to disable the Blog and Chat so where do I go to disable those features.

3) My Network feature (Block): Why is it that when I go into it and want to add somebody from my site it only allows me to add somebody who is in the "Zoints" sites network? I want this to be able to be used within my site, not Zoints.

Zoints Local does not currently support per-usergroup management.
Go to /z/zadmin.php and click on Pages, select Disable from the drop-down menu from any page you wish to disable.

The My Network feature currently only allows you to befriend people within your site not Zoints. However, the user must have set up their Zoints Local profile for their profile info to be inserted into the database before you can friend request them. Hopefully that makes sense, let me know if you have any other questions.

Their "Zoints Local Profile" is done at the zoints.com site or at my site? It seems that the users are being forced to become apart of the zoints network rather than my sites network. Am I correct in stating this?

Also, went to the "Pages" per your instructions and made the changes but there is no "save" link/button. So I went to the settings link and clicked save there but nothing saved. How do I set my settings?
