Are you sure instance1 is the actual varname of the instance you're trying to display?

Yes Fillip. What I included in the 'code' tags is exactly what I used. Any ideas?

DragonByte Tech 07-11-2011 11:54 PM

Yes, but I'm referring to the varname in the instance management.

Oh, that's what you meant. Yes, it is listed as instance1 as the varname in the Instance Management.

Then the template may not be available. Some templates, like header, cannot be used with vBShout.

I was using it in the FORUMHOME template underneath the navbar. Should it not show there?

DragonByte Tech 07-12-2011 11:22 PM

Try turning Automatic Deployment back on, that's the default position and you don't need to add any template code.

Check usergroup permissions in the Instance Management to ensure that the correct view permissions are set.

When you install this, Can you have the chatbox right bellow the nave bar?

BayLee2 07-16-2011 09:24 PM

I love this with 1 exception so far. When I login to use this from my phone (it's an android phone) it shows each post with the coding like font styles etc. Is there a way to fix this?

I've been unable to replicate that in Dolphin Browser HD or the stock browser on Android 2.3.3 :(
