I'm pulling my hair out trying to fix this problem.

It was working absolutely fine until I change hosts, firstly my old host was REALLY slow and the new host is super quick so I can't see why it says timeout as if it worked with the old hosting company then it should definitely work on the new host in terms of speed.

Users will randomly get the following error:

This score was not submitted from the game. Your score will not be saved.

Transmission Timeout (0 sec)

Any help would be VERY appreciated as the arcade is getting popular on my forum!

Check your timeout settings from Arcade settings in ACP. I have a fast server too and imo 2 seconds is the lowest you can go.

Yeah I've been lowering it from the original 10seconds which I had to have when I was on the slow hosting service.

It's currently on 2 seconds and still doing it :(

I have a link to the arcade in my navbar as it should be and 2 members that I know of can use this link ok with no dramas, but when they use a link that is in a sidebar they get the following error yet the link is exactly the same. Any ideas? all permissions are correct as they have been playing games.

When put games in folder tar later go to admincp\arcade\add game and installed game..!!!Later deleted the zip file from tar or let in folder....?

I just migrated servers and I was able to retain scores and the games but the games themselves will not load.

I was running v3arcade and switched to IPB. The issue is I had someone we caught cheating on some of the games (somehow refreshing the page?) had a bunch of high scores during the same time we made the transition.

Now that we are switched over I went through and deleted all this users scores in the system so none show up BUT she is still listing as 'King of the Board' for some reason. Anyone have an idea of how I could remove just this data?

on some tournaments, i have to click the "make the Winner advance" button. They seem to get stuck and wont continue the tournament even though all games have been played. Any ideas?

It's nothing to do with the arcade timeout setting.

Still miss a function to report installed Games likes Postings to remove them if they are broken or anything else.

MrZeropage, currently all games are being played in the left side of the page. Anyway I can center all the flash games?

Depens on how big games you install. Most of my games are between 50 kb and 200 kb, so it's not that bad for me...

I think it would depend more on how much people play the games, rather than how many you install. I just switched to the V3arcade btw.

But if you have 50 players and small games, the server load/bandwidth isn't so big as with 50 players and big games. :p
