If these aren't working what is the best way to disable them? Even if I deactivate or delete them from the Display Definitions they seem to continue working for some reason.

Thanks!

Probably because they're cached. I'm not certain. You can try disabling the cache prior to deleting the definition and see if they go that way, then re-enable it later, or you can manually edit the posts in question.

Totally Useless Post to Follow

I just realized that the number of installs is now 1337.

You can have one definition to parse both URLs, if you want. Just change this to the Regular Expression:

Code:

http://[\w]+\.youtube\.[\w]+/watch\??\#?v=([\w-]+)[\w&;=-]*[\#t=]*([\d]*)[&;10shdq=]*

Really i`m embarrassed from you man ... some members in my forum report that youtube links show with them like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=Riauw5UTnW8

with this two symbol #!

so if you please dear Jedi merge this three methods for youtube embed in one definition ?

1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Riauw5UTnW8 ?

2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch#v=Riauw5UTnW8 #

3 - http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=Riauw5UTnW8 #!

Thank you ... with my best wishes .

Hi Digital Jedi,

There are some goear.com that aren't being automatically inserted i.e. http://www.goear.com/listen/8388331/...ntonio-vasquez

Please take a look.

Thank you,
Jonathan

Yes, I'll have something for you a little bit later. But you can still fix it with this RegEx. That's really the only change it will need:

Code:

ttp://[\w.]+youtube\.[\w]+/watch[\?\#!]+v=([\w-]+)[\w&;+=-]*[\#t=]*([\d]*)[&;10shdq=]*

Yes, I noticed this earlier today, too. Apparently they've decided to SEO the piss our of their website. I'll have a fix for that here in a few.

Since it looks like the definitions for these haven't changed since earlier releases I'm assuming that there has been an underlying product change that broke internal linking. Given this is there any plan to address these in a future release?

Thanks for your help!

Mark

I'm working a new set of Internal Linking. It will probably be vBulletin version specific, as it seems there's some subtle little changes in vBulletin that's nerfing this for some boards. I'm still not sure it will be as comprehensive as the last set, so it might not work with all boards. We'll just have to see how it plays out.

mferguson 03-14-2010 07:05 PM

Great. Thank you. The version we're currently running is vb 3.8.1 so anything between 3.8.1 and 3.8.5 would be appreciated. Thanks again!
