I have recently upgraded from 3.8 to 4.1.1 and successfully upgraded the old hack to new version by changing the max version.

Now, the problem is that all the previous thanks are gone and the counter is set to 0.:confused: As stated in the second post, I upgraded the thanks add-on and didn't uninstall it.

Any suggestion for retrieving the thanks database?

P.S: my question was being answered while i was posting... but which counter should update? I can't see any specific counter for thanks.

The counters should be updated after an update anyway.

Did you do a database backup Before upgrading?

Update Post Counts did not have any affect...unfortunately

Hmmm the Thanx you button is not displayed as well :)
I have put the 2 png images in the button folders...

Ehm I feel a little dumb. I've installed bot i really don't know where to go for administration (if there's an administration). Also I'm using postbit (the horizontal one) and I've not understood where to go and what to put in to show the button...

Can someone help?

Read some the previous posts, it tells you how to change the xml file so it will install.

Im using Vb 4.1.1 but the system dont allow me install ! can someone post the solution here ?
