im working on it i honestly am. there is 1 last bug i am waiting on a response from the person who reported it.

the reason i havent released vbcommerce while waiting for 1.4 final is because i intend vbcommerce to be able to sell REAL things for credits. and if there exist bugs which either gain or lose credits erroneously (or due to exploits) how many people would want to kill me? :-p

hows fraud detection? or is there any... I have this installed, I also used my own admin referal ID, to signup for another account, and it appeared to give me credit, if i can do this, I can only see others doing this in order to gain referal advantage. It would be nice if it had a built in ban system, that ban users that try and signup for duplicate accounts using the referal system by using cookies. although, I do not know what you have that would detour cheaters...

built in ban system to detect multiple accounts? sounds like you need another hack. im pretty sure they already exist.

i make no secrets about the potential exploits of all credit awards - look at the admin help for more details. the bottom line is that you will always need a minimum amount of moderation to ensure nobody is cheating. now, these arent programming exploits, but theres only so much i can do to validate each action short of making you, the admin, having to greenlight each transaction.

but at that point, why would you be using a hack to award points? just use a profile field :-p

ive given advice on what to look for and how best to police the more exploitable actions (such as multiple accounts, spamming)

i installed vBCredits v1.4rc1 and i bought the donations for points and sell posts for points and it's not working...do the addons only compatible with v1.3? my users can sell a post but no one can buy it...even the users got enough points...
