I just wanted to see if maybe the XML got corrupted somehow. But it looks to be correct.

Since this isn't a live site yet, have you tried disabling all of your other modifications to see if the problem is not a conflict? And if so, re-enable them one by one, re-saving the post each time to see which one is conflicting. If a conflicting mod isn't the problem, then have you tried a complete reinstall. Which version of vB are you using by the way?

I also have the problem with the links...i uninstalled the product and all youtube links start with the ame prefix...i have to edit them manually

Um this is a live site not a test site. All the hacks worked fine before this was installed on the site. We had the old video hack that was AME but used a button in the post area & used BB Code. That worked fine but now I cannot find it on here anywhere. And we were forced to switch to this one since we uninstalled the old one thinking it would be pretty much the same but its not.

Currently its vb 3.6.4 we are looking to possibly upgrade though to 3.70.

When you said your client didn't want links being given out, I presumed it was a site that hadn't gone live yet. In any case, have you actually tried disabling all your other hacks to see if one of them is creating a conflict?

I'll do some updates on the site tonight and play with the other mods and see if there is a conflict and then post back.

I did a search but couldn't find anything. I have AME installed and it works fine, but I'm going to add multiple styles to my site for users to choose from. When I post/edit a topic the video works, but if I view it from a different style it only displays the url with the ame tags. If I edit it in that style, it works there and breaks in the other.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

just posting back and letting you know what the problem was. We had goldbrick installed as well on teh site. This was causing a conflict. I thought I had uninstalled it but apparently not. Thanks for all your help :)
