Great. Sooner would of course be better. You probably should work on php 7 directly, as that is the active version now.

You have made a great mod, want it to remain relevant.

As always, thank you for choosing vBSSO.

BTW, the current version (Mediawiki connector 1.0.2) does work with mediawiki release 1.28 (still on php5.5 though).

The only issue to fix then is to make it php7 compliant (VB4.2.5 should be out soon, and it supports php7).

We hope this has not caused you any inconvenience.
Thank you,

Hopefully whatever you come up with will be backward compatible for PHP. We're on an older version of PHP 5.x because of our Linux hosting at Godaddy. That won't change until very end of 2017 when we can finally move to Windows Cpanel.

Meanwhile, a fix would be super awesome for the httpS issue we have. We had to add SSL to our site at end of December 2016 changing us to httpS links. vBSSO connection between vBulletin and Wordpress still http without S. No fix. Some users have been persistent and patient enough to clear temporary files, reset cookies, create new links, and obtain times change browsers to get it to work again but others have not had that same patience or luck and are unable to access links in Wordpress.

Xeagle: Just found out that VB4.2.5 will require at least PHP5.6 . It is currently in beta, should be out soon. The plugins definitely need to be updated soon. Thx!

Thank you for the information.
Our team is planning to update the plugins about April 2017 (it will include PHP5.6).
Thank you,

Not relevant. Reply back to ticket #3799 on 1/11 was that was on your internal tracker system to do a review and hopefully a fix in the next release.

URL of the Platform Address in vBulletin is httpS. I'm near certain the problem is that URL of Platform Address in Wordpress side is http, missing the S. Disabling and reconnecting the plugin didn't fix it.

Yes, you are completely right - the issue (#3799) is is under investigation now. We will investigate (and fix if needed) till next vBSSO release. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Thanks xeagle. Would the mediawiki add-on also work with PHP 7, or is an update coming?

Thanks
