I spent a good while today converting the source code of this mod into a vB4 native format, and it was coming out just nicely until I discovered that the javascript part also doesn't work. Tested on vB3.8.7 and it fails there as well. Sadly, I should have read a few pages back in this thread to find that out before going ahead and waste time.

If this was an easy convert to VB4 the people who bought it would have done it.

what exactly is the key problem here on the port to 4.x?

Hey guys anyone here know what could be causing it to stop showing new posts after updating 3 - 4 posts? The page needs to be refreshed after about 4 posts so it keeps updating really frustrating :(

EDIT Hmm it appears to be a Chrome issue! No problems with I.E 9

Could I made changes at my own in that template? As I remember no changes made at all in admincp before hack broken

Try disabling all the mods temporarily and then test Live Topic via two different browsers and see how you go. I had the same issue like you and managed to find which Mod was causing the problem.

disabled all mods added blank style - new posts do not appear themselves, only need to refresh page to see new post
