Hey I've tried my best to figure this out on my own but I can't. How do I do this step?
Change the permission for the upload directory to 777. Note: The upload direcotry is where your files are going to be uploaded to [in the folder here it's called imagehosting] Thanks! |

So no idea which directory to CHMOD to 777. Can any one help please?? |
Yea... exactly. It's like it almost wants to work but that step is preventing it.

FTP client, navigate to your forum dir, then select set permissions on the downloads dir and change it to read/write/execute on all (owner, group, public) or simply enter 777 in numeric box. Most FTP clients work like this.

Will this addon operate under vBulletin 3.7? (I have peeked through the thread but didn't see anything regarding this.)
Thanks :) |
vb 3.7 has got its own image upload / album built in.
|
Yes, I know that - however that's not the point. The point is that the users should be able to access their old uploaded images sent via VB Image Hosting.
|
On a related note to the above, would it be possible to 'import' image hosting files into the new 3.7 image album?
|
Did the template mods, set usergroup settings, everything is uploaded, chmod done, everything as installation instructions say to do, not showing up in my navbar though..what's this about..?
Using 3.6.8 |
