SirAdrian,
make sure that you have created .htaccess file with mod_rewrite rules as described piskotilki, do you have vbseo_sitemap.php file in vbseo_sitemap folder? |
Even going to the PHP file directly does not work - only the .xml.gz file works.
|
Could you clarify which .htaaccess to use of out the following:-
the one in readme.html RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^(sitemap.*\.(xml\.gz|txt))$ vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_getsitemap.php?sitemap=$1 [L] or the one that is packaged with the install? RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^(sitemap.*\.(xml|txt)(\.gz)?)$ vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_getsitemap.php?sitemap=$1 [L] Seems they both are different. |
Hi I bought this FULL VERSION

VBSEO works flawless, GREAT JOB GUYZ
|
I added this url to my Google sitemap page:
http://www.myforum.com/vbseo_sitemap...temap_1.xml.gz But I get this error: Unsupported file format Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format. Please ensure it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit. What is the url and file, I have to add in Google Sitemaps? I think this should be clearly mentioned in the instructions. Please help. Thanks. |
You need to add yoursite.com/sitemap.xml, which isn't working for me. :(
|
confused now:
can someone just confirm... does this work with 3.6.0 gold? if I upgrade to 3.6.0 and it doesn't work....I can UNINSTALL no problem right? |
