and according to my Steam Profile Status

I know. This vbulletin addon does ONLY display "Online" or "Offline". It does NOT display "Away", "Busy", "Looking to Play", "Looking to Trade".

There is nothing to fix, it's just not implemented.

I Have A Request For Your Next Update when Ever That May Be.

IF a user is a moderator on the steam group it would be nice if the steam connect would add them to another additional usergroup

While this steam plugin works as a charm, for some reason I receive this message within every single profile I edit (admincp) at the bottom:

I install all the files in ftp, but still the same problem. How could I fix?

First of all thanks for the mod.
Everything is ok, except steam icon.
I checked the "Add Steam Icon to postbit" is active, Steam Web API Key is ok because I can login via steam connection. And I added {vb:raw post.steamicon} manually.
I am using vb 4.2.2 , what can be the problem for steam icon that cant be seen?

Hm, can be a variety of problems, like
- your provider blocked certain posts/php functions/curl which is needed to fetch the steam api data
- your disk is full
- harddrive failure
- cache directory not writable
- cache directory not set up properly in the settings
- steam api blocked your ip
- steam api blocked your api-key (maybe too many requests? Have a big forum?)

Does this get you anywhere?

Well I didnt deactive any plugin and I installed as the instruction.

Could 4.2.2 version cause this?

Disasterpiece, the fetching issue was caused by "timecreated" in the additional fields. It appears to be no longer working.

I see, the json parser is fairly weak in my old implementation, I just might change that until the next :)

This just links their steam account to your website nothing else... All the other stuff you see about is what they see in their profile edit section after linking and some adminCP stuff...

That's not exactly true. By using

within templates, you add a steamicon for people to click. It'll forward you to their steam profile page. With example:

I was hoping someone could modify it to work with this but seems SteamCard only uses your Steam name so the mini profiles wouldn't work with your Steam ID or Numbers... There are other SteamCards out there was hoping someone would have made one to be hosted on your website like the Steam mini banner is cached...

this mod works fine with 4.2.2

Installed without a hitch and I logged in with it without issue. Steam mini also works just as well as it does on the 4.1.9 Futuremark forum I admin at. granted it is only a test server and no members to test it but for me it worked as it should.

Changing the API key seems to have worked.. Dunno why we had to change the API key though.

The steam login system doesn't work properly anymore as it can only read 1 api at a time. If I add another / new one. it reads from the second rather than the first one when I add for example player_info in the additional fields. I really could use some help with this adding more API's to the system.

You query only one api URL at a time, more isn't possible.

what if i set a primary group, but when he/she unlinks it, it would switch his primary usergroup?

This plugin is interfering with vBMC - vBulletin Motion Captcha and making it go blank.
This steam plugin has been disabled for now......

Hi there, when a user goes to register with this, it redirects them to steam, and back to our forums.
But our forums become without a template.
Any help with this?

Hi, the product works fine, but if a user does not link your account current profile picture disappears and the default sets. But if you link the account gets the photo of steam.

You understand what I mean?

What I'm saying is, if a user has no account should you STEAM not take the picture.

Hey,

If I disable the group "Unregistered / Not Logged In" setting "Can View Forum". login2.php?do=login does nothing and wont redirect to the openid gateway for steam.

I want to block all non registered users from seeing the forums, however, this is stopping me.
