I'm on 4.1.4 with cerberus working fine.
Check Devgaming.net or even dgl.devgaming.net or any of the links in the main menu |

I have it working fine with my network of message boards. Out of all of the sites (six) all had custom themes, however only had issues with one which has now been fixed, edited and working fine on 4.1.4.
I love this mod, just have to learn how to have different vBAdvanced installations for each board like previously shown in this thread, have contacted the designer of those sites - even offering to pay and no reply - shame as it would be perfect - but apart from that all of my sites are working great. |

That's why I said pure :) the last one is working :) it was closed in the morning :P And yes 4.1.4 |

And you manage this with all the other hacks that you had before or you had to disable something ? |
Wondering if anyone else is having this problem. My main site tends to time out when trying to load it but the other domains load just fine. Any ideas?
|
I would pay money for a final & supported product of this.
I hope someone can make it happen :( |
Feel like the problem I am having with slowdown and timeouts on the main site has something to do with cookies.
All the other sites work just fine but you only have to log in to one of them to be logged in to all of them even though the cookie domain is set up correctly. The main site still requires log in though. Wonder what could be causing this, frustrating. |
I just wanted to be sure on this.. If I use sub-domains.. say English.mydomain.com , French.mydomain.com, German.mydomain.com... etc and www.mydomain.com is my lisc'd vB domain. I don't need more lisc's as long as all sub-domains are built around that domain?
|
That is the rulling we have all been running with up to now yes
|
Ok, upgraded to 4.1.4 and although cerberus works for the forum my CMS homepage no longer works correctly.
I get this error: An unexpected error has occured. Please try again later. If this error continues to occur, please notify the administrator. Anyone know why? |

One problem I'm having with 4.1.4 is that each post is redirecting. As in, after you post it doesn't just appear on the page as it should but instead this happens:
'Thank you for posting! You will now be taken to your post. If you opted to post a poll, you will now be allowed to do so.' Then it redirects back to the thread. I tried a test forum and it doesn't have this problem and it didn't exist before 4.1.4. Anyone else have this or have an idea? |
Hi
we try to install cerberus on our new plattform. We experience the problem that you can logon through the "portal" website, but not on the sub-websites. If you logon on sub-websites and you try to post a topic or anwer, it sais "no permissions". If you do the same on the portal forum it works like a charm. One sympthom on the sub-websites is, the password field is clear text, not encryptet with "****" Here are our cerberus settings, vBulletin version 4.1.2 buw.tat.at] bbtitle=baw - Forum bburl=w.tat.at/forums homeurl=w.tat.at catids=78,80,81,82 styleid=6 cookiedomain= facebookappid=Your_appid_here facebooksecret=Your_fb_secret_here [f.tat.at] bbtitle=f - Forum bburl=f.tat.at/forums homeurl=f.tat.at catids=52,58,56,57,86 styleid=7 cookiedomain=.tat.at facebookappid=Your_appid_here facebooksecret=Your_fb_secret_here [fa.tat.at] bbtitle=fa - Forum bburl=fa.tat.at/forums homeurl=fa.tat.at catids=48,49,51 styleid=5 cookiedomain=.tat.at facebookappid=Your_appid_here facebooksecret=Your_fb_secret_here [t.tat.at] bbtitle=t - Forum bburl=t.tat.at/forums homeurl=t.tat.at catids=48,49,51 styleid=3 cookiedomain=.tat.at facebookappid=Your_appid_here facebooksecret=Your_fb_sec Any help appreciated... |
I am willing to drop some good cash for a supported version of this. Also, if someone who has it installed could provide links so I can see it in action that would be great. If there is a programmer who want to further develop this PM me.

CaneInsider, check out Devgaming.net and also pretty much everything in our top menu is done using cerberus. For example check the teams menu and you'll find 2 subdomains each with their own cms front page and forums

What caused it for me was trying to get VB to display its old setting of all members registered instead of just activated ones. |

Would love to see it! Still pretty far away? |
Hello guys, How can I manage to totally HIDE a sub-domain
[downloads.mydomain.org] bbtitle=Downloads bburl=downloads.mydomain.org/forums homeurl=downloads.mydomain.org keywords=downloads, computer guides, drivers, wallpapers, psd description=downloads catids=385,351,389,363,321,638,315 styleid=10 languageid=4 pageid=download chatbox_identifier=download cookiedomain=.mydomain.com facebookappid=Your_appid_here facebooksecret=Your_fb_secret_here I will like to hide that whole forum from guest and specially spiders. I dont want crawlers, spiders from google in this forums. Also i want to add that the sub-domains I did are redirects and dont have a root folder where I can add a robot.txt file to prevent them from going there How can I archive this? |

There are a few sections of my site that I would like to move over to a separate sub domain so it had its own forum.
I would like to share the forums users, so we would use this hack, and buy how many licences are needed for each domain. But the problem I am thinking about is how would I actually move the forums and posts that I want onto a separate instance ? Has anyone done this before or know how? Thanks for reading. Mick |
