Hi,

Just installed RC version and in the little time playing with it most seems fine... just one thing that makes not beeing able to use it. It breakes my DTO Garage plugin. When your plugin is enabled the garage tab in member profile is not available. As soon as I disable this plugin the tab is shown. The dev for the garage plugin said this:
"The issue of the missing member profile tab is due to the "vBExperience (member block)" plugin. I suspect that they are setting a variable used for the template hook versus appending to it. If you turn off this plugin the garage tab and contents displays as it should."

This is not something that was added to RC version but I think its been there all along.

Cannot confirm that as I'm appending to the "profile_tabs" / "profile_tabs_last" hooks. Other hacks using the same mechanics have no problem running with vBExperience, like for example iTrader.
Also, I cannot test this for my own as I cannot download a free version available for vBulletin 4.

In an effort to help my customer I downloaded vBExperience and determined the source of the issue he was experiencing. In the member profile vBulletin automatically provides a userinfo structure for the user who's member profile you are viewing. In your xperience/hooks/member_build_blocks_start.php you start the file with the following code:

This effectively overwrites the provided vBulletin userinfo structure and removes some of the information needed for our product to determine whether or not a tab should be displayed for the user. For now I'm working around this by calling:

in our code to rebuild the userinfo structure so that it contains what we need to display.

Hopefully this will provide some insight in the event other add-ons which provide their own profile tabs have issues in conjunction with vBExperience.

Seems to be fixed in final version, as I suspect that it is the same behaviour like the people having activity on 0.

Thanks for pointing me to this, as this was just debug code that has not yet been removed. Fixed in final version.

I am having a problem with the achievements. It will not issue them. I have done clear and recount. Still not getting issued. No groups are set to ignore. For example:

Achievement - 10 pictures - must be > 10 pictures. - User has 43 - no achievement.
Achievement - 20 pictures - must be > 20 pictures. - User has 43 - no achievement.

if it's for user 1 then it's a bug thats going to be fixed in the gold version

Also it seems to be doubling or rather tripling the amount of album pictures when counting. I know a user has 43 and it says there is 129???

I think it is multiplying by the number of albums?

When I set the Color of the Level Up Bar to hide I get this error:

It happens when I hide any of the bars (level, next level, activity).
It seems to be displaying the phrase "xperience_gfx_levelup" instead of hiding the bar.
I've tried to fix it by removing the phrase and looking for it in the template but I can't find it.

It's counting in points. Check AdminCP, Settings, Experience Points.

i just updated from Beta 3 to RC and my icons disappeared from my achievements. I tried recount and everything but they didn't come back. So after i had reset all the icons in the achievements manually, I clicked clear all achievements. So all achievements were cleared but now when i press recount, it's not recounting any of them. No one has any achievements. When i go into my achievements page on the forum it clearly shows that i have the achievement unlocked but it also says that no one else has it...

help pl0x?

Finally! vBExperience has gone GOLD.
I've just uploaded the final version of vBExperience 4.0 for vBulletin 4.0.x.

Upgrade Instructions
1. Copy ALL (I mean ALL - That is a common error!) files from upload_via_ftp/ to the server.
2. ReImport product_vbexperience400.xml, allow overwrite
3. If you modified any of the vBExperience templates, revert them
4. Run AdminCP/Experience/Recount

Upgrade from vBExperience 3.8:
1. Install the product here: ZIP\extras\Remove vBExperience\install_this_to_upgrade_from_xperienc e38.xml". This product contains a fix to uninstall the old product without problems.
2. Uninstall vBExperience 3.8 product. DON'T USE KILL_EXPERIENCE!
3. Read the normal steps "Upgrade Instructions" above

Changelog from vBExperience 3.8.4:

*** Overall
- Reworked templates to fit into the new vBulletin 4 style
- Notification on Awards, Promotions and Achievements
- Activity has been extended to count also activities for 7 and 30 days, additionally to the default 60 days (configurable). Activitiy is now based not only on postings/messages, all actions that are calculated by vBExperience are taken into account.
- Progress Bars in 10 colours like black, silver, pink, red, turquoise, purple, orange, blue, green, yellow. Easily add your own color that fits best to your style.

- Achievements: Remove achievement if condition is not met anymore (configurable via "Can lose")

*** Insight
- New feature: Insight Experience. The insight into your personal experience and what's going on on the community.
Currently support basic services, there are plans to extend this with helpful hints on how progress, depending on users points. Also a statistics module is in work.
Insight is now the starting point using vBExperience.

*** Promotions
- New feature: Promotions. Promote your users to another usergroup based on vBExperience points. Fully customizable. Promotions are showing usergroups and conditions for a promotion to the next group. Promotions are also showing which benefits and permissions/allowances you get with a promotion.
You can import old vBExperience Legacy promotions (that were created within level.xml)

- AdminCP: Choose images for awards and achievements with a preview of that image (sorted)
- AdminCP: Manual recount for promotions and achievements

*** Plugins
- The CDP Plugin Interface changed, all plugins have been touched to make sure they are compatible.

hi

this experience is fantastic thanks, i just have one problem. i have replaced normal reputation with vbexperience and itrader,

problem is when experience i active it seem to clash with itrader


when i click the tab in most members profile to display the itrader feedbACK score it shows nothing just a blank.

i say most because i have found 5 members whos score do show and as there are 2000+ members its possible there could be more, but of the hundreds i have clicked on the profile tab does not work

if i disable experience then the scores DO show for ALL members perfectly. But when i re-enable experience the disappear again want to run both vbexperiance and itrader so if you could help with any ideas what could be causing this, it would be great :)

I understand. Firefox does not even show such empty pictures if the image is not available. Fixed with the next build.

You are right about that. :) I use both IE8 and Firefox. Use IE8 for my forum because it has the most users so I see it as the standard web browser.
