Hello, I installed it, done the 3 stages as instructed on the install.html but I've ran into this error in the Forum Manager:

I uploaded a .gif image to a folder named "customforumicons" under images, as set in the product settings and it isn't shown at all in the "Please select..." menu.

My board version is 4.1.5. Is this not supported with 4.1.5?

This will not work for sub forums....sorry.

Your path to the icons in the settings is wrong. Check it again per the instructions.

Hmm. How do I set it so it shows an icon for new and an icon for old, like how it normally works?

Two issues. First issue is when I set the Forum to act as a Category, it defaults back to the standard category icon that comes with vB.

Second issue is that my image is being cut off and overwriting the text. My image is not a square and 175x75.

But I do have a question about it, how can I make the icon clickable so that it also links to the forum ?

For example, I've got a forum called "X", the icon is just next to it and I would like the icon to link to "X" too.

Problems with IE and Chrome here. 4.1.7

EDIT: This was a problem due to the 4.1.7 upgrade most likely. Go into the forumhome_forumbit_level1_post and forumhome_forumbit_level2_post and manually redo your edits. Love your product.

Confirmed : after 4.1.7 upgrade just redo Step 2 from install.html (it is in install zip pack)

So, I just installed the templates, I haven't modified anything, can I move to Step 3 without modification? It seem strange and it seems not working.

Is there a way I can assign icons to parent forum categories? It seems the top level forum can not be assigned an image.

Edit the desired forum and at the bottom you should be able to choose the icon you want.

Edit: For a working example, check out my forums in my sig.

Works great on vB 4.1.7 default style.

Some forums don't have the Icon section...:confused: Among them there are forums with changed icons (some time ago), but I couldn't to set another one. How could 'appear' the icon section for these forums in adminCP?..

Make sure you upload the images for all styles you want to use them in.

You put then in the same folder as the lock icon (under forumicons) and set them in the forum manager for each forum.

ok I have created the forumicon in the root/images
now i can see icon in the forum manager ... I have selected a icon of 48 x 48 dor chit chat section .. but i am unable to see it in the forum

As it says in the mod, you might have to manually edit the templates if they don't automatically get edited when the mod is installed. You can try reverting the templates for the mod and see if that fixes it.
