Since upgrading to version 4.0.2 of the forum I am not able to hide the "what's new" tab.

Anyone else found this?

I have two ERRORS to report:

1. Unable to "Hide" the What's New tab in 4.02
2. When the Tab_Mode parameter is URL_PARAMETER any navbutton you click on does not become selected (Color does not change) only the new navbutton is in the selected color no matter which of your buttons you click on

Just installed on the latest and greatest (vBulletin 4.0.3) with no problems.

NOTE: I haven't tried disabling features, just adding.

Also can't hide What's New under 4.0.3 and doesn't recognize other tabs, i.e. "Gallery". Otherwise I agree it is nicely designed.

Is it possible to include a vbphrase as a navbutton title? I have tried but don't know what to do now.

You can add
<img src="path_of_image" border="0" align="top" alt="" />
before the title of tab. path_of_image is where you define where your image is

I was wondering, can you take below requests for feature realese..
-2 colunm drop down option..
-Icon options to have for selected items for parent and subs..
(If icon path is given,it will show it left side of the item..If it is not given, nothing or blank.gif)
-Sparater to put more space beetwen items..

I have one question though... On my CMS, I've added a new tab called "Arcade" but when I click on it, (it goes to arcade) but it highlights "Forum" Check out what i mean by clicking on "Arcade" on my site- http://www.audioneeds.com

Installed. Nice mod.

I have a question (and I apologize if it's already been asked), but is there any way to load a tabs sub-links without going to another page?

IE: I've a tab with sub-links named 'blah'. I click 'blah' and rather than taking me anywhere it'll just load up a new batch of sub-links and highlight the blah tab.

Unfortunately when we upgraded to 4.0.3 the "what's New" tab re-appeared and the button in the AdminCP for "VbSuporte Tabs" did not turn it off.

I searched and found this hack which turned off the "What's new: tabs completely;

this mod is in limbo right now. you may experience issues (cant disable whats new, etc) when using it on vb 403.
if youre having problems with tabs not selecting, the forum tab auto-selecting when it shouldnt, etc, please read post #3.

i tried setting up a fb connect tab to link to the following url
/profile.php?do=fbb

i wanted the sub menu to have all 2 of the following.
/profile.php?do=fbb
/profile.php?do=fbb_invite
/profile.php?do=fun&list=fan

any tips on how to set it up? when i set it up it doesn't highlight the fb connect tabi created. it goes to the page but the highlighted tab remains the forum tab and its sub menu.

i need it to change to fb connect tab and give me the sub menu i created.

any tips?

Just upgraded to vb4.0.3 and now dropdown tab alignment is WAY off. Instead of dropping down, it just expands from the middle - so half of the menu shoots up through the roof of the website, and half shoots down. Any fixes for this??

I just installed this plugin on 4.0.3 and I don't have a menu option in AdminCP. I can however directly go to the page to modify the tabs. The plug does show up in the Main options for the forum. I'm stumped! Would like to get a menu option in ADMINCP.

Any ideas?

keep your URL as above but set your "THIS_SCRIPT" to "profile"

That should make your newly created tab highlight whenever they navagate to any of those... unfortunatly thats the only advice i can offer

Erm, I have a suggestion. Add sublink dropdown menu's option, like vbulletin original does with the Community and Forum Action sublinks.

PS.: does anyone know how to replicate all the sublinks from the Forum TAB into a new one (including the menus)?

Whilst this product says supported, I don't think it really is any more. The plugin needs to be updated for 4.0.3 to work correctly. It is useless for some aspects now, and only works with some features in the latest version. If you don't want to use the advertised sub-nav menu, then it seems ok for tabs and dropdowns.

somehow the function to hide "What's New?" button didn't really functioning. Maybe an update for current version 4.0.3 would be great.

Dropdown are buggy in IE 7.0.6002 The dropdown are the width of the page. Any fix for this?

Hi,

I have the Problem, zhat it creates for every Subnavbat Item, a new Navbar Tab. Tis new Tab is labeled with a Number. It is linked to http://www.gruftiradio.de/vb/Array. What is this?

By default there is 3 tabs already in there. Just delete them

NOt using this mod. But what you can do is

Tabs vbSoporte -> Config

Hide the forum tab and then create a new one using this plugin.
