Thanks!
Downloaded, installed, and it works!

kylek 11-24-2010 06:49 PM

Version 2.1.3 is available on their site, could you please try to keep the versions here up to date as its easier to grab from here as am always on it. Thanks!

Updated!!:D

Nadeemjp 11-29-2010 10:04 PM

please tell me, integrating the application as instructed should be enough or should I then go for individual mobile phone application installation as well?

TeknoSounds 12-10-2010 07:37 PM

v2.1.4 is now up on the tapatalk site.

worried 12-12-2010 11:59 AM

The tapatalk application is locking up on my forum. I either have to exit Tapatalk or press the back button to get it working again. It's been like that with the past few upgrades.

Habsy 12-14-2010 03:41 PM

How does this app/mod deal with google ads? Can you have ads implemented?

Acually I just found that it was v2.1.5

Yellowpeter If your going to Profit from our content and pedal your wares on vb.org it would be nice if you would keep this up to date and notify us by Our system, I personally do not have a device to Use your product and Have missed a couple of updates because of lack of notice.

Also Can you provide instructions for the upgrade, Do I simply overwrite the folder ?
Do I need to run any scripts ? Do I have to rerun the process on your site ?
Can I disable this product for troubleshooting ?
Is there a Mod for VB4 to allow users to upload and display Videos ?

As much as my users like your system so far, I will drop it like a hot potato if the VB internal is better and offers moderation and admin functions. as well as Banners that WE control the display of.

TeknoSounds 12-15-2010 05:12 AM

well 2.1.4 was a few days ago heh. Guess there was another update.

Upgrade you just need to reupload the mobiquo folder to the existing one. If you're grabbing your personalized zip off the tapatalk site (vs. on here) you don't even need to make any sort of file changes. No script runs are needed.

For disabling, as its hardcoded into the template and no plugin settings, you'll need to either comment out the line in the template or possibly just rename the folder...but prolly the first.

yellowpeter 12-15-2010 12:10 PM

Thanks folks - the plugin has been updated just now.

Things move very fast at our website so new updates are pushed out very quickly. You should also receive our update email.

Again we will try our best here to keep everything up-to-date.

And yes for upgrade you simply drop and replace the folder. To uninstall, simply remove the folder / template edit.

And yes this plugin works with vBulletin 4.1 release as well.

Hello,

We have just updated our Android app with improved support of prefixes. Plus few minor stability fixes. FYI.

You should be able to see default set of smilies now (on iPhone), we are still testing the Android implementation

ShackMaster 12-25-2010 04:44 PM

I think if someone wants to use it for your forum they have to pay $2.99... and then I believe they are also introduced to any of your competing forums on Tapatalk. Maybe this can be clarified.

rootsxrocks 12-26-2010 04:27 PM

yep, thats pretty much the sum of it Shackmaster, However I personally believe attmpts to hide your competitors is futle anyhow,

Thank you yellowpeter, I am anxious to get a new phone so I can see this for myself

preemz10314 12-26-2010 04:45 PM

You mean just like... on the internet?

ShackMaster 12-26-2010 07:05 PM

If you meant to sarcastically suggests "just like" using a standard browser from a regular computer and not a phone... or not having to access our site via a market app on a phone, then no... it is NOT just like it.

If a user goes directly to my site, they are not exposed to other sites on their way to my site. If they plan to use Tapatalk, they have to download Tapatalk from the "market" of choice, and then search for your site and add it. TONS of forums on there so they might find your competitors too. How big of a risk that is to you depends on several factors. It is extremely obvious that you make your own decision... I simply stated a fact that some people may want to consider.

kho91 12-26-2010 07:31 PM

it'snt free in the android market!

Micha66 12-26-2010 07:43 PM

Will the rebranding product change in light of recent announcements?

What's your site called so we can test it.

How do we get smiles to work on the I Phone.

OldSchoolDSL 01-04-2011 05:59 PM

So many someone can answer a few questions....

This is free to install, but cost my users 2.00.
Is there a free version & a paid version?
Does it only allow my members to browse my community?
I have one member who says they can browse, but not post. Does that cost extra?

There are free and paid versions of the Tapatalk app. The free version will allow them to browse, but for posting and such they'll need to purchase the paid version. $1.99 is cheap really, they only need to purchase it once...and works for any vB site that has it installed.

lorenii 01-05-2011 09:05 AM

I am using this on my forum and the users are loving it. They like it better than the VB/IPhone App.

I have a member who said she paid for it and it will not let her post. So I'm unsure if this is something wrong with my site or the app or her cell or her provider.

TeknoSounds 01-05-2011 06:52 PM

what version is she using? Iphone or android?
Is she logging in? When shes browsing the site, do you see her username logged in?
Are you using the latest version of the mod provided by the coder from their site? I find its easier to just download and upload vs trying to edit the blank config files on here.

lefteris 01-06-2011 01:24 PM

tapatalk is a very good plug in if you can verified your forum.

I cannot verify my forum because the admin site show me that the mobiquo cannot found

Using the newest version. And their site validates and says it's installed correctly on my site. She's using the iPhone. Does it matter she's in The Uk? I see her logged in and even can tell she's using her phone to browse the site.
