I've installed this and am testing it on my forum. I have a "family" usergroup. I checked usergroup permissions and other mod settings. When I access as a family member and select My Albums from the drop down, I get a permissions denied even though the usergroup permissions permit viewing, etc.. What am I missing? Thanks!
I tried to register on your site. Red and Blue = Purple. Why doesn't your script know that??? |

Hi, I've just installed this mod, and everything seems to have installed correctly, but no matter what I do, I cannot get the media to show up anywhere in the listings pages. I've included some screenshots so you can see what I mean.
The media is uploaded to the correct folders as I've checked them via ftp, but nothing at all shows up in the gallery, whether it's images, music or video files. I've tried linking to them and uploading them, but still nothing. :( Really want to get this to work, and I'm not ruling out the idea that I've misconfigured something...I usually do! |
First, check if the "mediatype images" are uploaded. Then check the write permissions (umg_gallery/images/.. must have chmod#0777). And at least, check if there are any thumbnails available - f.e.
mediaid = 1234 and the image is called xxxx there must be a thumb called 1234_xxxx.gif in the folder umg_gallery/images/0/small & medium |
Hi, thanks for your reply. Check, check and check. All seems to be as it should, but still nothing is showing up. Could it be something to do with using a custom style, or perhaps because I'm using my forum in 'domain.com/forum' instead of 'domain.com'?
Edit: Incidentally, this is what is showing where the image should be: Code:
<a href="umg.php?m=15" alt="test" title="test"><img src="umg_view.php?do=s&mediaid=15" border="0" /></a> |

may I ask a few questions?
I have photopost and their software does not have an easy way to embed youtube video or video code from other sites. I have a lot og galleries created by users in photoost but I'd like to also have a video gallery. I have read this mod will let me convert all of my images over from photopost - is that true - does someone have this running somewhere so that I can go take a look at it first? thanks in advance. |
do user automatically get their own galleries like in photopost?
what's the difference between lite and pro - I went to the pro site but I do not see a place where you can order. if I install LITE is there an easy upgrade path to Pro in case I want to install Pro. thanks |
I downloaded this mod and am trying to run the photopost_2_umg conversion but there are a ton of very obvious errors in the code that stop it dead in it's tracks right off the bat. I really would like to use this mod, but has anyone else tried to covert a photopost db and if so have they fixed all the errors in the conversion code?
thanks in advance. |
