If you could let us know either way that would be great so then I can remove it completely from my vb4 install (it's disabled atm) as I don't want to lose my settings if a vb version was to happen.

Really depends on pricing. You can export your stations and back it up to remove the mod.

Most likely this will be ported to xenforo, but I don't have dates sorry. Most likely it will take time.

For now I am not planing to move my forums to xenforo, so will I be able to use it fo vb also or....?

hmm is this a must have addon you think for you?

Be great if you do get the time to update it to vbull 4 as it was a superb mod and one we used so much on 3.8

If Jelsoft keeps it's promises and really add the features they are saying they will, I may stay with vBulletin, then I'll take a look at finally porting this to v4.

It's not an easy task, as this mod takes a long time to code, plus the time to learn the new vBulletin 4 way of doing things.

this is strange ... I tried first in firefox and there was nothing, an also no player. Then I've took IE - and there's a player which is playing the stations ... and the "wrong" URL - which i can't see in the source only in the URL-status in Firefox - doesn't matter ...

Seems to be a Firefox issue.

it is a must have mod for vb4 - it ist one of the most important mods for vB ever!

Guys, 100% sure I'll be moving to xenForo. This mod is free to be messed with/upgraded by any coder. I'm terribly sorry I can't please you all, but it would be too much for me with my current projects and work.

Will not move to XF as its not offering that much as VB, and anyways will be commercial software...so I think they will never be able to be better than VB...atleast not in near future

Now that's just silly. You would re-rate this modification because the author of it who has provided it free-of-charge to the vBulletin community does not wish to spend a HUGE amount of time upgrading it to the vB 4 series??? That's just stupid.

The rating should not be dependant on whether the mod author upgrades the modification to fit your needs. The rating should be an assessment of the current project. And because of that I would rate it "5" all day long!

I suppose it's a good thing that vB.org does not allow users to change their votes!

Look. Dude has stated that the modification is NOT supported. Dream has been kind enough to allow for "Re-usable Code" -- So stop downing the product because it's not compatible with vB 4. Hire somebody to update the code for you. How about that for an idea! :rolleyes:

Nobody is forcing anyone to do something for free, I believe that Mr.Dream is not from some place where they force you for things like that...if he is my appologies...

Modification does not fit my needs any more cause coder of this great mod was saying (two times) that he will upgrade it for vb4.... Again, nobody forced noone to say something here I hope, so me and I would say some more people were waiting for that upgrade from day 1 of vb4

Even if my mother tongue is not english I can read that much, yes he allowed to re-use of this code....hope someone will take over and do it, someone who will see even his interest in this Mr.Dream did not had enough sence for business to have time and his interest to upgradwe/support something like this

Its not often we agree, but in this case - yes indeed.

Modification does not fit your needs? Don't use it. Simple as that. But how dare you presume to become insolent because the mod author has just stated that he has things going on in his real life that has prevented him from upgrading his mod to the vB 4.x series!

Regardless of what Dream may have said about upgrading the mod - it's clearly selected as unsupported with permission for anyone to modify the code to his or her liking.... That in itself is generous.

Anyway - that's just my 2 cents. I just do not like to see people dissing a mod author for what ever reason. If it wasn't for the coders/designers sharing their stuff here at vB.org for FREE - there would be no community.

Speaking of which - have you bothered to make a donation to Dream for his wonderful work? Yes? Then good for you. Consider making a larger donation so that the he might have some incentive to upgrade the modification. No? You haven't donated? Then hush that fuss = money talks - BS walks ;)

The xmls are veeery old... check the third post of this thread for directories of stations where you can get new ones.

I don't have any TV stations but I can share really nice radio stations if you want...
