Did that, the products list tells me that I am on YaAS v3.8.3, the latest version, but it just keeps coming up with a blank space.

I have tried to re-import, but I still have a blank option in the vBulletin options dropdown. Also, it will not upgrade the version number to 3.8.3.1, keeps saying I have 3.8.3 even though I imported the latest version.

Using vB 3.8.1 (going to upgrade shortly to see if that's causing it)

I've upgraded now to the latest 3.8.4 vb version and this error is still happening. Members recommend an award, I receive the PM with the recommendation yet the member is still redirected to the STANDARD_ERROR page (address bar still shows recommend_award.php).

Any thoughts on this? Thanks

Xanlamin 01-14-2010 08:34 PM

Does the users usergroup have permissions to "recommend" awards?

smartkidbk5 01-14-2010 08:40 PM

Great mod, and i know you said you would be updating to vB4 eventually, but any idea on approximately when that will be completed?

Thank you.

Xanlamin 01-14-2010 09:00 PM

This has already been done if you would have read more.

Sorry, my bad. Thank you very much.

gunboard 01-16-2010 09:56 AM

Hi,

I would go like to go back to the last stable Version.
I would not have the blank line, and "_" in postbit. Also the actuall Version makes Problems with the Database.

Xanlamin 01-16-2010 04:16 PM

Please download the latest release, this one fixes a lot of the issues you have been having. Sorry for such late response, but some of them took some time to track down as it was very hard for us to duplicate them.

Speysider 01-17-2010 10:13 AM

Your vBOptions bug is still not fixed. I upgraded to the latest version and I still have a blank option.

Saviour 01-17-2010 04:59 PM

Problems with your latest release...

I'm running 3.8.4 PL2...and I have run across the following issues:
1. Using a custom style and the Action column does not display
2. The Recommend Award link does not display
3. The collapse feature does not work at all on the awards.php page. You click to collapse a section and the option to collapse disappears, but the award is till there.

I have checked all permissions for those Usergroups I want to use the request/recommend feature.

Ami I missing something...or is this release still a little buggy?

Xanlamin 01-17-2010 05:56 PM

in the settings do you have the options enabled, not just the usergroups?

Will look into the collapse, but that is something we have not touched.

This is working 100% with no errors nor bugs on our test and live site. vBulletin version 3.8.4 PL2 running YAAS 3.8.4

Saviour 01-17-2010 08:53 PM

Yes...the options are enabled...

Every option for the Awards List is set to "Yes".

If you go to my Awards page and click the collapse button (orange arrow)...you'll see what I mean.

I uploaded and overwrote all files from the new release...and imported the product overwriting the existing one.

It has me swingin'...if it has you swingin', too...then it looks like I'm going to have to remove this. It'd be a shame, though...

What about the Default Style? Are any of your YaAS templates manually edited?

Yes they do

Xanlamin 01-20-2010 03:20 AM

When you upgraded, did you re-upload the new files from the new download before importing the xml?

Xanlamin 01-20-2010 06:33 PM

I am sorry, but that will not be implemented. There is just not enough demand for it. If you would like it that way then feel free to make the appropriate changes on your site.

YAHOME 01-21-2010 10:21 AM

Okay thanks for the reply

Covert-OPs_ 01-23-2010 01:17 PM

I just installed the upgrade and I am getting a ton of errors. If you visit www.tacticalopsunit.com/testforums you'll see what I'm talking about.

Alright, guys, I'm going to get a bit rude here.

Learn how to read!!!! Stop posting THIS DONT WORK ON 4.0! DUH! OF COURSE IT WONT WORK! QUIT ASKING IF A 4.0 RELEASE IS OUT! AGIAN! READ!

Go back a few pages, and read. For 4.0 releases of this mod, look in the 4.0 Mods.

From here on out, any questions regarding things that have already been answered, especially in the last 5-6 pages, I am going to ignore.

You can get as a rude as you'd like but I have read the last few pages. My understanding is that it was now working with 4.0, is there somewhere else I should go to download a newer version?

Maybe there should be something on the top information area that tells people to visit that area for 4.0.

Xanlamin 01-23-2010 05:45 PM

You miss-understood wrong about 3.8 version working on vB4.0 forums, nowhere does it mention in here that it will work. You will find the 4.0 version IN THE 4.0 MODS SECTION, there is a link to it a few pages back.

And this version has nothing to do with vB4.0 so there is no reason for use to put something in the top, in the search box type in YAAS 4 and search in the 4.0 mods...you will find it. The problem is some people are either 1. Not Reading at all 2. Only Reading 1-2 pages backwards. or 3. Don't know how to use the search function.

And even if you would have read 1 page back, post number 451 it gives the link to the 4.0 version.

deathdlr 01-27-2010 06:19 PM

how do you distinguish the different awards when it puts it in the postbit ? also $post[showuserawards] where is that located ? the db ?

Thanks
D²

Xanlamin 01-27-2010 11:57 PM

In the plugin manager go to the awards set. You will find it in postbit_display_start.

But if you mess with it it will mess up the mod.

If your wanting different display locations thats not where it would be, you will need to do that in the settings options or code your own, but do not mess with the postbit_display_start code.

gamerfu 01-28-2010 06:41 PM

The new YAAS 3.8.4 adds an underscore as spacing to each award in postbit.

and what will be the right path? i have uploaded pic to root/images but still nothing

Xanlamin 01-29-2010 01:12 PM

The path will be the actual web address like: http://www.75thclan.com/resources/Ri...Attendance.png

What format are you useing for your images? .png or .jpg? If your useing .png try changeing them to .png, lately I have had a few people on our site say they could not see some images and when we changed them to .jpg all was good.

gamerfu 01-29-2010 08:33 PM

Any ideas about my underscore delima?

Xanlamin 01-29-2010 10:16 PM

Check your postbit template, in ours there are no underscores so they should not be appearing.
