You need to upload the files to the respective dir's, not just upload the upload folder.

ok...i must be slow or something...cuz i have tried everything under the sun and nothing is working...

what can i be doing wrong?? I installed everything seperatly...into their respective directorys in my ftp ...but nothings coming up at all..

help.. ?

Did you reinstall after you put things in the proper dir?

Hi

I wish there is an option to display some of the awards in specific forum only and not in all of forums, for example if i have a forum for sport competitions i will display the awards that the user get in the form of sport competition and not in other forums, but all of awards will display in profile surly.

With this new update...do you have to edit the member.php like the previous release? I don't see it in the instructions, I just wanted to make sure.

Another huge thing for me would be to have the award postbit links to point to the awards tab on the profile. Or to have a minitab at the right side of the profile page (below mini-statistics, for example).

Excellent mod and installed.

I've also added a custom script that ties this mod in with the Paid Subscriptions part of vB.

So when a user has an active subscription a scheduled task fires off a script that awards the user with a specific award, and when that subscription expires the same script will remove the award and PM the user.

If the author wants to include this in the mod, let me know. It's one php file that is fired off by the sheduled tasks (I've set mine to run every hour) and two new phrases that control the expired PM text.

I've installed it and it works fine. Only problem is my avatars get pushed down and it creates a blank space, anyway to fix this?

Right, just written some instructions and uploaded the file and instructions to here for anyone interested.

NOTE: It is specific to the install I done and only works with one subscription and one award, but would be simple enough to tweak for multiple awards / subscriptions. It doesn't stop you having multiple awards however as you pick the award you want to link to the subscription.

A user has posted an updated version of the awards_memberlist.php file. It will be included in the next release.

If you read some of the posts, with the release of YaAS for vBulletin 3.8, the version scheme has changed. v3.7.4 is the latest release for vBulletin 3.7.

I have it all installed, all of my members loved this when I had it before.

I'm seeing this message.....not sure why....

Renae, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

How hard would it be to rewrite the awards.php template so two awards appear per row on the request page.

I have about 60 awards and the page gets pretty lengthy so I'd like to start having two awards per row on the main request page.

can i change description, for an award... for all member, that have it?

for example..
description for award "birthday", it says : happy birthday
i want to change : happy birthday to you
and i want to change... for all.. not by editing one by one?

We want to display the award icons in several lines, i.e., add a line break after every 10th icon. Would the following change in the product-yet_another_award_system.xml do the trick?

First we add a new template awards_bit2:

Seems i cant find the answer here. but i installed this mod without any probs. but i cant se the awards anywere. the only spot i can se who i have awarded is in the memberlist.

What could be the problem?

I installed this and can't get anything to show up in the postbit. Everything else seems to work. Is there anything else I need to edit to make it show up?

I installed it and get the settings screen but I do not see the screen where I can award people. Sorry if this is something simple but I am kind of new to this. What am I missing?

Hey, I was wondering if it would be possible to make it so this option is editable under the 'administrator permissions' section so that not everyone who has access to the ACP can mess with the system.
