I have installed the paypal donate plugin and it seems to work great except once I have recieved a donation it doesnt register on the donate bar. After a donation it still states 0%. I read somewhere about "confirming" a payment, where and how is this done. Thank you.

We downloaded the fix the day it came out with no problems but just a few minutes ago with lost all records and donation bar returned to zero. Just an all of the sudden thing.

Hope you haven't uninstalled previous version when upgraded, as uninstall process removes donation logs from database?

Great Hack...exactly what I was looking for.

I received a donation today, got the PM, checked PP and it is there, but the DonBar is not showing up and it is still saying 0% received.

Am I missing something? I have read about the "Donations Page"...is that the vB Options template that they are talking about or did I miss something.

I have the same problem, I have a stack of donations from the previous version but the Donations Bar now shows ZERO .............. how do I fix it please.:erm:

No we did not uninstall, we just overwrote as instructed, took a few seconds and all was well. Everything was just wiped out today. I logged on to my private forum account saw the donation bar and donations as usual. We have the meter in bright red so it's very noticeable. Log out .Logged back in within a few seconds and it was gone. It was that quick. I then logged back out, then logged back in to see if I was just seeing things and sure enough everything just vanished. The amount was zero and the donation bar back to the beginning. We haven't been in the control panel for this hack since the security update was released and everything was working fantastic until now.

Do you have any other suggestions?

When we discovered this problem we turned of donation, we just now turned it back on again and the donation list is there again but the bar graph still shows zero.

There should be a drop down menu that allows you to confirm the donations.

Yep, same problem here.

I applied the newest version via overwrite. I checked the table and all of the donations are there. However, the donation bar shows 0%. Could this be because the 'id' does not start at 0?

Yes usergroups were never changed and we just check again and they are fine.

For some Reason -

If i hit "Pay 5 dollars" and it takes me to the paypal list, it still says i am in the donator list and ive paid 5 dollars.

Also, whats the difference between "Move" or "Add" to doner list?

Also, i have some troubles with setting the groups to which get notified. Sends to all groups.

Sorry, I really don't know what it can be then...
Move - user primary group will be Donator
Add - user becomes member of Donator group, but his primary group is untouched
Ensure you have permissions to view Donation List (hack settings), and automatic link insertion is enabled.

There is definitely something wrong.

Plus the DonBar is still not showing...

Everything working fine for me.
Had the same Problem not showing Donation Status, but i fixed it as i went to the Forum index and kicked Quick links > View Donations -> Confimed -> shows on the Ba
You might enable the DoBar via the Settings in AdminCp > Options > CyB PayPal Seetings

PS: Still recieving (for example) 5 (whatever currency) donation if i click the link to Donate and it shows me PaypAl page will come up -> ???? BUG?!

I too am having probems with non existand donations showing up on my bar after upgrading, after trying to run that query i got

I continue to have two problems.

First, when someone chooses a subscription, even though when you go to paypal (to sign in and authorize the payment) it will show something like $5 for 6 months, when you go to the receiving paypal account it will list:

Subscription Creation
Payment
Subscription Completion

All on the same date and in a row. So, the subscriptions wind up becoming a one time payment.

Second, after authorizing the payment and hit the "return to merchant" button (or something like that), the user gets sent to http://www.broncosforums.com/forums/..._charset=UTF-8 which is a page of smilies (if you click on that link, you can see what I mean).

Any ideas on these two things?

What will show on the member's credit card statements if they donate by credit card? My thoughts are it will show "Donation from (name of site)" If so, is there a way to change that? Apparently some members do not want everyone to know that they donated to a flirting site...lol

Yes - there is not really much which has changed between 3.7.x and 3.8.x.

Basically I just added the $cyb_paypal_donate_link to the bottom of the snippet. I'm thinking your style is breaking because you're inserting a table when there really shouldn't be one.

Note: I'm not sure if this works because I don't use that style - but I don't see why it shouldn't. Just make sure to turn off the auto-insertion.
