I managed to get it to display as a variable on pages by importing the product, language and commands repeatedly. Strange. However, it displays it with the perpetual "Loading ..." notice. If you enter a line, it jumps to the full page variant and the line displays. It works well within the forum, archive and full page areas.

Me too ---> EDIT: If the option "Show a small prompt message in the chatbox" is on, the problem happens (and the prompt message isn't showed at all). If the option is turned off, works fine... * VB3.7.0 B4 + 0.2.0 |
Have had to uninstall and go back to a working chat (cyb) because after upgrade whenever anybody enters a chat then press enter, the page navigates automatically to the chat full page, and the actual chat gets lost in the ether :(
Must have spent over an hour this morning trying to fix, then I tried totally uninstalling then re-installing, still not working. So, binned! |

The only thing that could lead to such problems is a problem of templates not reverted or javascript files not present. Do you have somethg particular on your forum ? |
Hello / Bonjour...
Still problem with hour, date is K now with the 0.2.0 version. Private chat is excellent :) Waiting the next version, with less bug... Si tu as besoin d'autres infos, tu peux me mp ;) |

2.0 zip file still doesn't seem to work.. When I unzip it it says file/folder already exists. I end up with the proper directory structure, but no files.

If it was the version before I made changes for it to work for everyone on vBadvanced then that might be due to those changes. Quote:

Hello - one other question - our style has a narrow center part for the forum (like on this forum), and when I added the chatbox it has made the center part wider. Our header no longer fits. I can fix the width of the header, but we liked it narrower instead. Is there a way to fix the total width of the chatbox (not just the width of the input area)?
|
well im using firefox 3 beta 3
and yes i use the same browser as before |
Quote:
Can you make me a screenshot of the chatbox on your forum with all editor lines collasped (bbcode and smilies) so that I can tell you if it needs more tweaking to keep your header the width it is :) Quote:
So you mean it was working with 0.1.2 and now since the new version it doesn't ? Have you checked in firefox error console (tools menu) if it does report any error ? |
no i cant see any error

I also tried the vBa module out when I was first having this problem. Oddly enough, it appeared but never seemed to recognize the fact that I was logged in and treated me as a guest. I could see it including chats, but the entry box and relevant buttons were missing. I did not troubleshoot it however, as it was not happy with the column format. |
Quote:
Honestly I don't know. As far as I know it shall be working with the module. Have you tried to work it around with stangger5 the author of the module ? He's a very motivated guy and always try to help people out. |

vbdev jsut wondering if you can hire/reqruit some beta testers to test ur mods before your official launch on the mods.
That case eveyrone wont be experiencing bug issues and you dont need to answer alot of question and sometimes some questions that is same. |

You did make a backup before starting the upgrade?
Regards Jason :) |
vbdev can you explain why ?
|
it appears that the maxosx directory is causing the problems with the zip file for windows users. or at least that's what it seems to be. I can unzip 1.2 with no issues, but 2.0 is still giving me problems

I don't understand why such an error would appear especially if you were doing an upgrade. Did you do anything wrong ? Quote:
Btw you know the remaining bugs are not that enormous compared to other software ;) Quote:
Quote:
Oh sorry yes this is what I mean. But as far as I can see there is no problem with the header on the screenshots you posted ?? |
*Zip file updated with partial turkish and italian translations

I would like to say a big Thanks to Kaycee123 who has just donated for the chatbox  |
