nix 04-11-2008 11:00 PM

Yes with vbulletin attachments.

Celtkin 04-11-2008 11:10 PM

For our site, we see it work about 90% on Youtube URLs but fails on on certain Youtube URLs. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it, IMO.

nix 04-11-2008 11:38 PM

well a link to a video that doesn't work might help. Other wise its hard to fix it.

leroub 04-12-2008 01:13 AM

tx for your fantastic hack... :D

I have a problem with a swf files... when i push to play swf... i have only 10 seconds each time... why???

thx for your help...

nix 04-12-2008 05:31 PM

Might be a silly question, but are they only 10 seconds long?

leroub 04-12-2008 06:42 PM

No, my video was about 2 to 3 minutes. When I try to listen to the videos, the time that gives me the player is 10 seconds. However if I click the cursor to return time back, my video continues to the end, or if I let go of the cursor.

thx for your help...

nix 04-12-2008 06:48 PM

Not sure if thats related to this mod. But I'll look into it.

leroub 04-12-2008 07:04 PM

Before loading my video...

After 9 seconds, my video is not finished...
http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/8948/002yt9.th.jpg

At the end... my video stop.... the problem is it the flash player (flvplayer.swf) ??? where in code, you put a 10 seconds by default ???

leroub 04-13-2008 03:38 AM

thx for your help Nix... I found my problem... :D

When i create a SWF file with ADOBE Captivate, the file info, is not recognize by the player.... i use camasia now... ;-)

thx for your fantastic hack....

Thanks much for your confirmation. However, did you try any video from DailyMotion?

MaddJunk 04-14-2008 02:12 PM

Also on 3.7 RC3 when you post video you get one error but it will go away (redirect) and post will be o.k after that:
Code:

Warning: curl_setopt() [function.curl-setopt]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set in [path]/goldbrick/includes/class_goldbrick.php on line 526

I had that problem and all i had to do was email my host and ask them to upgrade it.

Now i am stuck with the problem that only admins can see the viseos for some reason if anyone can find a fix.

Comments as this discourages any developer. You should recognize the great work accomplished in this mod and to await calmly for the new version that was already promised by the author.

I am disappointed in several aspects, but I will never make a cowardly comment as yours.

Time of donations for the nix guy.

Well said! I miss the good ol days (pre-internet) when you could take people that make comments like this outside, haha;)

unitedpunjab 04-18-2008 12:48 PM

This hack is working flawlessly on my board since 3.7 beta 2.
never ever had any problem.

jswiss 04-19-2008 07:57 AM

I will also add:

trashing the developer (nix) for a free mod which is excellent isn't going to get you any points. it will only discourage him because of your silly comment.

It's an excellent mod.
It's free.

So, please think before you post.

Have a nice day

Just a question about this hack and images.
When we have a few images in a post, are we supposed to have arrows in the highslide window to navigate to next or previous image, or have we got to click on each thumbnail?
In the "alt" message there is "click to close, use the arrow keys for next and previous"

On my test site, there is no arrow and I must click on every thumb. Is it the way it works?

xanthide 04-19-2008 04:36 PM

Nice work m8 i am buidling a new forum today and i need this a lot.

ADomoWorld 04-20-2008 10:43 PM

Is .mov able to play.. Ive found they seem to not play..

sweeps78 04-21-2008 02:59 PM

I was finally able to upgrade my server to PHP 5.2.5 and MYSQL to 5.0.45-community. I am running vbulletin 3.7 RC 1 and will be updating to Gold this week when it's released.

So, I'm wondering... do I meet all the requirements to get this sweet looking plugin to work now? I'm totally pumped to start using this plugin, but I want to make sure that I have everything on my end up to spec before I try to install it.
