Nice mod... I tried putting it on the vBAdvanced index page however like others all I get it a "Loading..." message.

I assume this is because its on my /index.php page and forums are in /forums/index.php page

That's all it was... go in and edit all the links from misc.php to your /fullpath/misc.php

This is great but can really hammer the server!

I'm have a little problem...

I don't know why, but when enable chatbox, the users can't go after page 2 in forumdisplay and showthreads

Also... when the users click on the user profile, the message is "the user doesn't exists"

any ideas??

one suggestion though that I might have is if there was a way to have the ability to change the size of the box...

that would be really helpful... as it is I am having too hard of a time finding it in the code... otherwise I would just do it myself

quick question...

I am having a problem with the box showing up on my arcade pages...

I have the $cybchatbox at the bottom of my navbar template and then have the following scripts set to show:

"index, showthread, usercp, forumdisplay, online, search, arcade"

is there something I am doing wrong?

I tried adding the $cybchatbox onto the arcade page by hand and still nothing...

Downloaded and installed and have it manually added to my forumhome template yet nothing shows up. I have it set as active, I am not blocked from viewing it and THIS_SCRIPT is set for index. Any ideas? 3.6.8pl2

i really like this chatbox, works great, but I'm going to have to disable it without being able to "get at" the messages either through the dB or through the forums directly to delete as promised, as is, when I click on the messages in the box i get sent to a link like this >>> /forums/misc.php?ccbloc=19 <<< which brings me to my FAQ, SMILIES page no matter what the # says, no options to delete or edit anywhere in sight.

Now, is this CYBchatbox being buggy, or is it my htaccess or something throwing it off?

Can't I manually delete them through the DB? where are they stored anyway?

I want to thank you for what I have found to be a highly stable and insanely easy to install mod! I have wasted too many precious hours toiling away at another chatbox mod that I could never get to work to my satisfaction. I am especially elated that this one works on my vBa portal without having to toil with modules and sacrifice box width.

Can a forum running 3.6.0 run this?

I have a suggestion for a new feature. My site allows for a choice among (11) vBulletin styles in all, varying widely from light to dark background colors and textures. My members commonly use the text color selection within Cyb ChatBox, as it allows for source distinction and has proven to be a very popular feature. Unfortunately, some colors might prove to be illegible when viewed in certain styles.

My suggestion? Add a button to toggle between a "plain text" and "colorized" mode. If you switch to "plain text" mode, all messages are parsed and displayed in the stock text color for the appropriate style. The preferred mode could be stored as a cookie or member setting. The button would allow for a quick switch if you suddenly see text being typed in a color which is not visually compatible with your chosen style. I think this would be a great feature for those of us implementing multiple styles!

I did small modification to the script.

Message entering field is now shown below chat area.
Message entering field height is fixed to 60pixel.
I add "Submit message" button to between "B I U" and smiley buttons. ("Enter / return" key is still usable).
I add an option to open the chat page in new window browser. No more miss the chat while surfing forum :D

I had been looking for a shout/chat that I could customize for only staff to see it while also running my regular shoutbox.

I placed it directly under the shout I have now...it's perfect, staff can discuss and address ongoings while still watching the shout.
