Where do you put that in the code? I'm still having problems with it even after the update.

The error goes away once I disable this mod. Not sure what to do about it.

ok, not sure what page the usernotes is on. but you can go into the Global Array plugin and read the first line and you will understand why that error is appearing. You need to add that page to the in_array function

Is there a way for this hack to work on the calendar. When someone post an event they add a video?

Only other mod installed is VBArcade, and that was installed after the passiveVid mod, which i havn`t been able to get working at all (even before VBArcade)

the biggest issues are always something thats stupid and right in your face. :D

also you were probably distracted from the giant array of complex statements.
I don't have much to work with then. I know that it works on about 100 other boards with youtube, not sure why on yours its trying to parse the url twice. Unless you somehow have two instances of passiveVid installed, or duplicated the plugin. I have no idea whats wrong with yours.

I'm not sure if anyone noticed this, but apparently Google videos is embedding Yahoo videos on their site, and they don't post very well on my own message board. I recall reading something about the URL appearing above a blank video window, but I don't recall the solution.

Example: Post this video to your Forum, and it will not work: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...arch&plindex=1

The only problem I've found with this mod is that I can't figure out how to get it to work on other portions of the site that are not standard VB.

For example: VbJournal, Photopost VB Gallery, VBLinks.

Is there any tips you could give me on what code needs to be added where in order to activate this for posting in these other portions of my website?

I have a short question, this mod works great, butt some users on my board wants to place a link to a videoserver without actually playing the movie, They just want to paste the link. Is this possible?

no this is not possible, if they really need to just post a link then they can use a site like http://tinyurl.com/ . The whole point of this mod is to parse every video link into an embed.

this is something that would be hard to fix. there is no difference from a normal google video url and a youtube google video url. Which makes it impossible to detect which url is which. Easiest thing to do would be to disable google or tell your members why google links act up and make them actually put in the direct url.

Hi there...ive been having issues with the latest version with regards to the break.com vid embedding. it doesnt seem to work. for example, when i place the following on my forum:

http://break.com/index/9th-grade-+++++-on-maury.html

it automatically converts into:

http://break.com/index/9th-grade-+++....html?matchid=

and there will be no embedding... any idea what might be going on? thanks!

first off thats a bad url. second the matchid is something i had to add to get break to work. try it with a real video url.

Hi, this is a great mod...I've "installed it" and I'm pleased. I noticed that someone commented earier about the title variable and it was mentioned that you need vBSEO for this to function, but then someone else mentioned placing </a> after the link and all was well.

I've tried this and it does not work. If someone could elaborate in case I'm missing something, that would be great, but otherwise I'm just getting the URL in the title bar.
