yeah i was planning on doing color customization but i think ill hold that off till the second version:)
also moods are fully installed:D but havent done image showing up with corresponding mood on add entry |
that would be nice.... have you seen one of the journal they have over at phpbb i think its from a portal. it lets the user customize to their liking.

Features for Original Release: search for journal -admin override that you can edit, delete, or lock -search through journal -flood checker -user has ability to disable comments -only certain usergroups can create entries -display all journals -display all entries on multiple pages -search capabilties (of some kind) -a "last edited by" forced feature that shows if user edited journal or if moderator took action -link from profile with journal entry name -display all entries on multiple pages -comment system -ratings system -Admin grants permissions to view journals by usergroup -Users may edit or delete own entries -links in postbit (including legacy postbit) to view user's journals if they exist -Admin can delete journals -Admin can view/delete/edit rights for all entries -Admin allow/disallow BBcode in entries & comments -Ip Logging -Journal and Entry Moderation(exactly like Vb's post/thread moderating -Mood System -Private Entries -Completely Private Journals -Journal Buddy List -Define specific users who can view private journal/entries who are not on journal buddy list -BB Code Parsing in Entries -Admin can lock specific options such as if the journalist can enable smilies and bb code -A report system that private messages administrators of the board(requires administrator usergroup to be default id) -last entry displayed on journal index page for each journal -journal description -journalists can name his/her journal, if not it pocesses their username -showentry page just like vb's showpost page -administrators can define specific users who may not have a journal -administrators can reset ratings and views for journals -install script Features for later versions: -journalists can specify colors for their journal -attachments -subscriptions you may post suggestions for the future features list and the original release list but for original release list only post ones that are important:) |

this sounds great :-) since we have upgraded to v3 and are starting to install several hacks again... this will be perfect for our site... can't wait to see and buy!

For what version of vB will this work for? Please say 3.0.1.
Also, will there be upgrade instructions for vBJournal? |
well im running Vb 3.0.0 and i dont think there should really be any conflicts since not alot changed in the base code mainly since Vb 3.0.0, at least i dont think. Correct me at any time anyone:)
