The system already supports to show Sold/Expired in ads that haven't removed from the system. But these ads are appearing only when someone browses the "Seller's Ads" or if select "All" as status (default is "Open") in Search form.
If you don't want the ads to be removed from the system you've 2 options:
1.- Set a long time as duration for in usergroup permissions
2.- (This is better). If you like the idea to have different duration per usergroup then let the duration setting as is (eg register members 30 days, vip members 120 days etc) and change in general settings the grace perio to a high value. eg 1000. In this case an ad post by a register user will expires in 30 days but it will stays in the system for 1000 days after expiration.

I can now set up a Marketplace Page on Facebook too for my Online Newspaper with some sort of confidence. Very impressed straight out of the box

Is better to wait. I've some plans to release 2 special versions for Classifieds:
- Auto Classifieds
- Jobs seeking

As per you question. Sure yes can change it as they're just phrases, but later on you'll be messed with the forms at they're containing fields/values for Genarlar Classifieds.

Is it possible to attribute a rich RSS feed to the main page feed and/or categories? Probs dreaming, but would allow me to broaden sales potential in my various CMS sections reasonably simply from my end, cheers
