@Katoona: Send me an e-mail (or send it to support@addonchat.com) and we'll be happy to look into it. This could be anything from a simple configuration issue to a firewall issue, either way we'll check it out.

@Club Ample: We are considering a new release targeted for v3.8 to include many updates, but a lot of work needs to be done to catch up to the features available in the 4.01 release. No promises yet on a release, but if all you really need is the support for the mobile edition, that is something I can work with you on to edit the templates appropriately for the new link code. e-mail support@addonchat.com attn: Chris and I'll work with you to make the necessary template changes.

Super News Grim... I'd be happy to donate to further the cause. I really feel this addition would increase the daytime usage of my chat room at least 100%, because of work firewalls.
I'll email you there.

I am planning to go professional, but my site is not live yet, and it makes no sense to pay for something before I need it.

I experience the same, no counter in navbar. (free version)

Is it possible to post the solution here?

You need Professional to Enable vBulletin Authentication? That mean's you can't have admins and moderators... then what's the point of the Free chat? If you can't moderate it, the members will do whatever they want and it will be chaos. Am I doing something wrong or does the Free version really not include this?

Works Perfect

Is the http://www.addonchat.com/ site currently down?

As I cannot access it nor can I access http://www.addoninteractive.com/ for some reason.

Thanks.

PS: I don't have issues accessing any other sites.

EDIT: There seems to be an issue with your domain name not working. As I can access your site via your IP address but not your domain name.

@CybaGirl - The problem was a DDoS attack on one or two of our nameservers. We're on top of it ;)

Yes thanks for getting back to me and everything is working again!

Awesome product with awesome support thanks very much!

I am looking for some documentation on ways to integrate this.

For example, using the vbulletin cms, if I created an article/static html page for a specific chat event, could this be embedded into the page or is it always on a single stand alone page that cannot be edited to show anything else?

More specifically, if I want to create a static HTML page and embed a ustream live event, can I embed addon chat right next to it? Then, when I do a different live show next week, create a new page and do the same thing?

@reefland:

Yes, you can.

This mod, as-is, provides for integration on either the chat room's own page or a popup page, and there is also a CMS widget for a popup link + who's chatting display (see the included README.TXT file for instructions)

You can also add the chat room code manually to any CMS page, and it can be combined with whatever other content you'd like (such as ustream). The easiest way I know of to do this would be to create your own Static HTML Widget (vBulletin CMS -> Widgets) and add the HTML code manually. Your AddonChat link code can be found in the AddonChat control panel or in the original e-mail you should have received when first registering for the service.

If you run into any snags settings this up, feel free to e-mail support@addonchat.com for assistance.
