One of my users alerted me to a "bug" with Tapatalk. I have a few forums on my site that are not accessible to the average registered user. You must belong to a higher level user group. I have verified this works properly when i long into the site using my computer. I access it with different level user accounts and everythng displays only what it should to each specific user.. Now if i log into the site using Tapatalk with my regular plain registered user account i can see on the recent posts section of tapatalk the restricted rooms as well as the first parts of all the recent posts of messages a registered user should not have access to! It cannot be taking in the permissions properly. This is unacceptable and needs to be fixed ASAP!

This issue can happen when you set the forum to a group of user as "Can View Forum" but "Cannot View Thread".

It has been resolved and you can download the updated MOD version "1.0.1" from either here or at the tapatalk.com/entry

Thanks for bringing this up and I am going to send the update notification to all marked as installed.

Let me know if you run into any other problem.

Thank you Paratek for bringing that issue up and another thanks to the designer for fixing it so quickly. I had the same problem on my forum as well as some were marked as private.

Do we just replace the mobiquo directory with the new 1.0.1 files and that is all that's needed to fix this?

Yes all you need is to replace the files.

If you still find any issue please let us know and we will fix it accordingly.

I already removed my forum and account from the tapatalk site. Do I need to start over from square one on there again if I decide to add it back?

This has happened since i upgraded to the newest release. Seems to have broken the style format. This is a screen shot of a users profile as he was online while using Tapatalk

Yes we aware of it - in vb 3.7/3.8 we have provided a small plugin so it convert to a simple string like "on mobile". We will try to add this support in vb4.0 soon.

iPhone app 1.6.1 has been released from app store with various important fixes.

Now it supports 8 different languages including German, Spanish, French, Russian, Solvak, Portuguese and others! Thanks for all the volunteers to make it happen!

We also updated the Android app with much improved performance!

FYI.. A lot of forum owners have asked about ETA of our BlackBerry version. We're indeed getting a step closer to the BlackBerry version released by the end of the month, it been delayed for two weeks but we are on track to get it out very soon!
