Edit: Since I did not want this to hinder the usability of site, I started poking around and found the fix.

Go to Stylevars and find "toplinks_form_input" under the "Header" column

Yeah, that "toplinks_form_input" did not address the issue of the forumtitles colors.

Separate question - if I wanted to make the forumtitle titlebars thinner (ie less height), where would I be looking for that setting?
