Something isnt right about this mod.... it shows a number of them "Allowed" but they aren't (notice their names are not linked). And then suddenly one will slip through.

This thing is BROKEN.

that's a great mod ....
unforturenatly, no ones who are not spammer can not register into your site too,

what can we do?

manually add new user if you check out they are not spammer

not for sure this idea to fix with someone here but that issure after i installed this mod

It sounds like you missed something in the installation or in setting up the options.

If you want to be able to check for spam and optionally prevent or approve registration manually, see https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=224073 - it manually queries the same stopforumspam database. You will need to set your forum to require manual approval of all registrations for that to work.

i'm running vb 4.0.2
and ..... when i install this mod i didn't change everything inside

so, what i missing hummm .... let me double check about config of mod

yeah i double check
in the option verything as it as default
some part as check email, ip, usernam (in the note: shouldnt change) so i leave it alone

the issure is everyone consider as spammer when they register into my board
but in log it show differnce
with ones who is not spammer it least a usename + email + ip ....
with ones who is a spammer it least a Unregistered + email + ip .....


but no ones get in

Why are you surprised that the people trying to register have their details in a global spam database?

LoL I don't know what you guys are talking about. This mod works 100% fantastically.
It blocks usernames, ips, and e-mails that are on the list. If they have a matching username, CHANGE IT. Not a big deal...

That's not from this mod. That's likely from the vBulletin antispam feature using Akismet.

See Admin CP | Settings | Spam Management.

Akismet works well for vBulletin and Wordpress - except that you can't see what is triggering it, only that it's triggered. Look for commonalities in the moderated posts. Sometimes I can tell what's triggering it (i.e., obvious common spam words like Nokia or ringtone); sometimes I can't see anything.

Do you have any other spam censor mods installed? If so, you can try disabling them, or you can disable scanning in the Spam Management setting if you trust your forum members. :eek:
