I had the same problem... but it's easy to fix!
goto "vBSEO Sitemap Settings" and set "Include Tag Pages" to "no" -> save

thats all! :)

yes, you should disable text sitemap option. Yahoo supports xml sitemap now.

i see two cron in my admincp
vBSEO Sitemap Generator
Generate sitemaps

and

vBSEO - Create Google/Yahoo Sitemap

which is unnecessary?

Vbseo, can you help me here?

1. I ran the site map generator for the first time and it ran for a couple of seconds before returning the following error:

2. Can you clearly esplain (sorry iks key is not working) where is the yahoo sitemap located and how to get the sitemap to Yahoo? The link I see in your first post takes you to "advance search" in Yahoo.

Everything seems to be working fine with the mod and I've been running it for about a week. Google is picking up the sitemaps but when I look in google webmaster tools it says.

Indexed URLs in Sitemap: No data available. Please check back soon

Looks like it's reading but not indexing them. Does it take awhile?

I seem to be getting the same error here. When I run the generator I get a DB error :(

you should increase wait_timeout setting in mysql configuration to avoid that.
Yahoo supports the same sitemap as Google - sitemap_index.xml.gz, submit it here: https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/mysites

disable Text sitemap option, remove *.gz files from data/ folder and regenerate sitemap.

you should remove everything from "add-ons" list option.
