Search for $ad_location[ad_showthread_firstpost_start] in the postbit template and after it add $vbam_location[post_message] (note at the end). Set your ads to display every 1 post, choose the post_message template hook from the menu and for your adcode use this:

Code:

<if condition="$GLOBALS[post][postcount] % $vboptions[maxposts] == 1">
<div style="float:right;margin-left:1em;margin-bottom:1em;">
YOUR ADVERTISEMENT
</div>
</if>

$vbam_location[post_message] added in postbit legacy and postbit...

Where can we find the post_message template hook from the menu ??

thanks,
priya

Uninstalling this mod also...

Is everyone running this stable with vB 3.8? Just curious. I have vbSEO 3.2 and Vbulletin 3.8 installed. So I'm wondering if anyone is using ad management with that configuration.

Upgrading isn't as easy as a new installation, it is true. Unfortunately, it was a necessary evil.

2. Tried to put ads on showthread only, each 15 posts. In the 2.x version it took 1 minute to configure vB Ad. Here I'd spent 2 hours on searching and... nothing found.

That should be easier, not more difficult. Just go to the Posts section (Forum Ad Management add-on) and choose 15 where it asks you.

3. Brand free does not exist - uninstalled. Sorry, but due to "branding dream" of the coder my forum was hacked twice already. I do not wat to tell the attacker where is my weakpoint.

Sorry to hear it doesn't suit your forum. If the situation changes in that regard I'll let you know. I'm not aware of any vulnerabilities in anything I've done though.

Of course! Quite a few of the changes were done directly because they were requested. If you have further thoughts, let me know.

All hook locations are listed in the auto-insertion dropdown menu with each adcode block. Any you add yourself are automatically included in the menu.

Again, really helpful and great mod and can't wait for the non-beta version. Checking for it every few hows, hehe:)

I had a helpful offer but access wasn't wide enough.

Are you still searching for offers?

RedTyger 02-23-2009 08:51 PM

No, sorry I came on to say that and forgot. A couple of handy individuals have offered me access so fingers crossed for a new version next few days.

When this mod is enabled on my site it causes my forum width to be wider than desired but only on the showthread page. Forumhome and forumdisplay are normal. Anyone have any idea why this might be occurring?

I posted more details here before I figured out it was a problem with the mod.
