Since MrEyes' was actually working, I'm curious why his problem helped you solve yours. |
I went into my Admincp and where it says:
"Userid of who PM sender / Alert poster Typically your admin account userid" I made sure that the user id was an admin I also verified the spelling of this one (but don't think this one mattered): "Users who recieve the PM upon multiple login detection List of usernames who will recieve the pm report upon multiple login detection seperated by ;" My problem was that I had downgraded the admin that was listed and he was not and admin anymore. |
Oh. No, I just tried both of those. User ID of PM sender is 1 (myself). I deleted all the others out of the receivers box so it's just me. Still nothing. :(

Guess what I just got? A PM from the AE Detector!
However, logging out and logging in as another user - the test I've always used - still does not send me a PM. Something very odd going on here. |
installed. Should solve a very recent problem with banned user.

I'm running 3.7.0...
PMs work, but thread posting doesn't. Anyone got any idea how to fix this? |
I've installed this, but having severe issues trying to get it to work...
I did however note upon checking with my test accounts, that until I set the ID for Alert poster to a useable admin id - I got a message upoin login "Invalid Username set for post" (or similar).. Once I'd changed the login to a relevant id - it's still not working however.... |
