In this case, if you wanted to post the video called "Paying Tribute" about the NYC Fireman, go the the Video page link right there beside it: (http://video.yahoo.com/watch/2486616/7599255). That's the link you would post.
It still does not work

Would it be possible to see a link to an example that isn't working?

Thanks

It may be that your having the same quirk that my forum is having. I only get a link when I post a Yahoo! Video initially, too, but when I edit the post, that seems to correct it and all subsequent Yahoo! Videos then post okay. Give that a try and let me know if that has any effect.

EDIT: Do you have Extract Destination Data turned off for you Yahoo! Videos?

crkgb 05-04-2008 10:44 AM

Nope. No effect. remains "a link" ((

Hi!

I run a drummers board and sometimes it would be usefiul to upload our home-studio recordings to show to all the other pals on the forum. So we found this site:

www.boomp3.com

Would it be possible to add XML file for this MP3 audio hosting?

Thank you so very much!

The only other thing I can think of, at least at this point, is to double check that Extract Destination Data is active. I noticed that you had it turned off for the MySpace video and a couple of others I think. That would definitely disable the Yahoo! videos, since part of the embed code is needed to reference the video ID. If it is off, you'll need to either edit the post once you turn it on, or post another video link to see if that takes care of your problem. Let me know what happens.

By the way, have you tried other Yahoo! Videos besides this one?

At first glance, I think it should be possible. I'll be sure to add it to the list of next releases if I can get it to work.

This one actually fixed the issue. In the global settings Extract destination data was off.

Thank you so much for your help and support !

No problem at all. I was worried we wouldn't find the solution there for minute. :D
