Hmm can it be because of my Calendar addon ? it is a hack that allows a forum to be linked to a calendar.

it is this hack : https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...hlight=vbevent

I have the calendar addon, but I don't use that in my rotation. The image that you put in there was not an uploaded image (unless you managed to install the upload attachments in calendar hack like I did). In any case, that image belongs to events not showthread. Try to upload it in the first post of showthread and you'll be fine.

Oh so your saying "linked" images won't work with your hack ? Your saying i need to "UPLOAD it as an attachment" ??

fyi : i have highslide " so my attachment system is not default" installed, will that affect the hack too ?

Going to try to install this calendar attachment hack.

edit : no 3.6 attachment calendar hack available :(

Going to try to install this calendar attachment hack.

#1.-Stay away from the calendar attachment hack unless you know what you are doing. It was done for 3.07 and requires extensive file edits to make it work for 3.60 (few functions, newattachment.php, attachment.php, showthread.php and some javascript in clientscript. It can mess you up big time.

#2.-My hack is pulling from showthread table, so it will not care about attachmens in events if you managed to install that hack, unless you modify it.

#3.-The hack is pulling directly from database and it does not use any vb attachment template, so I don't see how highslide (which I don't use) could affect that.

Please read the first post for instructions again: The hack pulls the last uploaded images in showtread.

well, i guess my only solution is to pull from a new forum that i am going to create specifically for your hack.

Problem now is that if someone clicks on a slide it will take them to this forum. How can i totally disable the area where there is all the text and links ...i m just going to use this as a basic slideshow then ...Until someone ports the calendar attachment plugin...

btw here is where i am testing your hack : http://www.maroceve.com/index.php?page=test

solution is, right after you add an event, reserve the first post so you could upload that image in there too.

I also see that you are using the pirated version. You don't have the extra navigation and it's creating you all sort of javascript errors. Why am I wasting my time?

maroceve 02-26-2007 04:21 PM

Hmmm good idea...let me try this then.

what pirated edition ?

maroceve 02-26-2007 04:27 PM

I have purchased the script...I really don't appreciate being called a pirate...and i have proof ..I pmed you the email i received from joomla ...

If there is bugs or errors ...it might be because my main proffesion is not a coder...i just use tutorials ...

then you are using the wrong slideshow.php which was conceived to counter the pirated version. Request the correct one to the site where you purchased it. I had forwarded him the full hack.
