Please read "How Does It Work" and "What Happens Behind The Scenes" above to see how you would test it.

Still Don't Get It.

1.) logout of your forums and register as a new user called test or something.
2.) use a fake email adres like idont@wantmail.com
3.) go and proceed with registration.
4.) Go to you admincp and set user "test" to the registered usergroup.
5.) Since you registered with a non-existing email adress, the verification email will get bounced (hence you have activated verification check by email), click the link in the email and you will see that user test will be moved to another usergroup if you have set it up that ezbounce does that.

You dont have email verification? No problem, same action but now under 4, also send this user a password reminder from the admincp, the effect is the same.

sent an email and nothing bounced back

Hi! Everytime i click on Management link, the following message appears in the top of the page:

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in /admincp/ezbounce.php on line 107

But the user was moved to the correct group, receives a PM, and the option "Receive Admin emails" was turned off.

What this error could be?

@Daddygrim: In that case there are 3 possibility's.
1.) You forum emails do not really get send
2.) Some spamfilter or setup keeps the bounced messages out
3.) The email adres @wantmail.com is existing and they have a catchall which does not bounce the message, try another email adres which does not exist.

Otherwise I don't know what's going on.

i massed email and i know for a fact 1 person email address is invalid. but i never got anything back. I use my gmail account for my admin. Show me an example of yours.

I have a domain name, my email adres for admin is the info adres of that domainnaam.
So if my domain is www.myforums.org then i have my admin email info@myforums.org.
The nice thing about that, is that the mailserver for that domain is running at my own home, but that does not make any difference with hosting.

As far as I know you should be able to get a bounced message at gmail too. I will try lateron with my own gmail account.

Is that what you mean by an example? If not, please specify.

yeah thats fine..but what about the bounced email itself? i do not have my email system set up on my site. my email options. all blank. SMTP Email and below are all set to no and blank boxes..this shouldn't make a big difference?
