- This hack has nothing to do with setup of your shoutcast server.
It allows your to show song history and online status on a local/remote webserver.

There are a few hosts that do not allow external request to other sites for info unless it is on port 80. Do you know if your host blocks access to probe other IP's on ports other than port 80 ? Many hosts will give you a port open in their firewall to run applications. You can take that port and re-setup the shoutcast server IP's.

If your webhost, will not allow you to use ports other than 80 to get info from, then you need to set your shoutcast server to port 80.

- This hack has worked on my site since 2001, 24 hours 7 days a week.

I have tested the lite version of this hack that does not need a password to display the station and had no problems reading data from your server.

I would send a e-mail to your webhost asking for info.

Ok thats fine my host wont allow this?? So why use the hack??? When i can run it from my board without thats all Im saying install is easy and sets right up??

The link is the setup from shoutcast thats all, I sat in here for a week and finally heard from my host NO so I went to the source got it hooked up and running and have forum room for discussion the and subforum link to the radio bada boom bada bing???

Also Not to sound like Prick if your going to support these hacks ??????? Im sure it would be nice if ya did and not wait a week??? But hey thats just me, thats why I said F this and went got it myself learned it hooked up and ran to my board Mate!!!! No harm!!
